Yuri got ready for the day, feeling a bit better than she had in days. Though the bandages around her wounds were still there, they were healing. As she descended the stairs from her room, her steps came to a sudden halt when something caught her eye—a photo on the wall.

She moved closer, her fingers lightly brushing the edge of a picture frame. A young couple smiling brightly. Her chest tightened, a flicker of something familiar yet distant washing over her.

Yuri tore her gaze away from the photo wall, feeling a strange pull in her chest, and made her way to the kitchen

Yuri tore her gaze away from the photo wall, feeling a strange pull in her chest, and made her way to the kitchen. The comforting smell of food filled the air, and as she entered, she saw Jin at the stove, focused on preparing breakfast. He moved with ease, flipping pancakes while stirring something in a pot.

Jin glanced up and spotted her. His face immediately softened into a warm smile. “Good morning, Our Princess. Feeling better?”

She nodded, still slightly dazed from her encounter with the photo wall. “Yeah… a bit better,” she replied softly, taking a seat at the kitchen island. “What are you making?”

“Your favorite,” Jin said with a proud grin. “Scrambled eggs, and some chocolate dumplings. Thought it might cheer you up.”

Yuri’s small smile faded as she looked at the food in front of her. “But I don’t like them...” she said quietly, causing Jin’s own smile to falter.

For a moment, he looked at her, a bit surprised, but then quickly shrugged it off with his usual lighthearted demeanor. “Ah, it’s okay! No problem!” he said, grabbing a new pot and pretending to be overly dramatic. “Tell me what you like, and I’ll make it right now.”

Yuri, curious, walked over to the plate of chocolate dumplings, picked one up, and took a bite. She paused, chewing thoughtfully, and then glanced at Jin. “It’s tasty… I think I’ll like them now.”

Jin’s heart swelled, his earlier disappointment replaced with joy as he watched her enjoy something she once loved. His lips curved into a wide smile, clearly relieved.

But then, Yuri stopped and looked at him, her expression turning more serious. “Oppa… I don’t remember anything, but I want to. I want to find that missing piece of myself.”

Jin’s smile softened, and he stepped closer, pulling her into a warm hug. “Don’t worry, Yuri. Even if you don’t remember, it doesn’t matter. You’re still our sister, and that won’t ever change.”

He pulled back slightly and smiled down at her. “We’ll just create new memories, ones even better than before.”

Yuri rested her head against Jin’s chest, feeling a warmth she hadn’t experienced. The uncertainty and confusion that had been clouding her mind seemed to fade just a little in that moment.
