Yuri chuckled bitterly. "The guy who wanted to kill me is now being gentle? It doesn’t suit you, Jun. Don’t pretend to be nice to me when we both know that you hate me."
Jun stopped and turned her towards him, looking directly into her eyes. He saw sadness, tiredness, fear, and despair in them. Without breaking eye contact, he started dabbing the alcohol-soaked cotton on her chest around her breasts. Her eyes were filled with questions.
She smiled sadly. "You pity me, don’t you? Seeing me in this pathetic state should make you happy since you always want to see me suffer."
Junie cleaned her chest and neck wounds without looking at her naked body. He then broke the silence still looking directly in her eyes. "I don't hate you."
Yuri looked at him with a questioning expression.
"I just don't like you," Junie continued. "And if I wanted to see you suffer, I wouldn't have come to save you. I may be a mafia member, but I am not a rapist who'll harm a girl for my own desires."
He thought to himself, *Did she really think of me this low?*
He stood up and went to another room, leaving Yuri alone with her thoughts. She felt horrible. She had been spied on for the last two weeks, discovered that the man she was living with had a father who killed her biological parents, was sexually assaulted, and almost raped.
What's more worse to come ?
He came back with an oversized T-shirt and handed it to her before heading to the kitchen.

Yuri put it on and sat by the window, staring into the darkness outside. Nothing was visible, just the dark void that scared her. She wondered why anyone would live in such a remote place in the dark forest, not knowing that the guy with her now considered it his favorite place.
Jun pov
I saw Yuri sitting by the window, lost in her thoughts. My mind drifted back to earlier.
I was returning from checking the ATEEZ planters when I received a message from Minghao. Scoups had called a meeting because Yuri had run away into the forest. Despite Scoups' warning about not trying to escape, she had done it. I never thought she would actually try. They would definitely find her, and it would be interesting to see what happened then. There was no way anyone could get out of the forest except our loyal guards and the other members.
With that, I decided to enter the forest. I was walking through the woods when I heard muffled screams. It was unusual in the otherwise silent forest. We didn't have any animals here, so what could it be? I went closer and looked carefully.
