Jeonghan glanced over at Yuri as he drove, his heart heavy with concern. She sat quietly in the passenger seat, staring out the window with a distant expression, her face streaked with the remnants of dried tears..

He reached out, placing a gentle hand on her knee. "Yuri," he said softly, his voice filled with an uncharacteristic tenderness. "I know this is a lot to take in, but I want you to know that you're safe now. We’re here for you."

Yuri didn’t respond right away, her eyes still fixed on the passing scenery. After a long moment, she finally whispered, "Why does it feel like everything I knew was a lie my life my identity.?"

Jeonghan’s grip tightened slightly, but he kept his voice calm and soothing. "Sometimes, the truth is more painful than the lies we’re told.

Yuri fell back into silence, her thoughts tangled and overwhelming. The rest of the drive passed in quiet tension, with only the hum of the engine filling the space between them.

When they finally reached the mansion, Jeonghan parked the car and quickly got out, walking around to help Yuri. She stepped out without a word, her eyes downcast. Jeonghan gently guided her inside, his hand on the small of her back, offering silent support.

The grand entrance of the mansion loomed before them, but it felt strangely cold and uninviting to Yuri at that moment. Without saying anything, he led her up the stairs and towards her room, giving her space but not leaving her side.
Once they reached her door, Jeonghan paused, looking at her with concern.

If you need anything, anything at all, I’m right here,” he said softly, his voice full of genuine care.

Yuri nodded weakly, unable to find the words to respond. She stepped into her room, and Jeonghan watched her. He closed the door and left her alone making his way towards the meeting room.

As Jeonghan entered the meeting room, he was greeted by the 12 members of the group, each one acknowledging his strategic prowess. The room buzzed with excitement and admiration.

“That was a good plan, Jeonghan hyung,” Dino remarked, his curiosity getting the better of him. “But how did you come up with it?”

Before Jeonghan could respond, Mingyu jumped in to explain to those who weren’t fully aware of the backstory. “So, here’s how it went down. We received a tip-off from the club—someone gave us intel about BTS’s interest in contacting Yuri and telling her the truth. Knowing this, me, Hoshi hyung, Joshua hyung, and seungkwan went to check it out.”

Jeonghan continued, his tone calm and calculating as he explained the intricacies of his plan. "That’s exactly why I devised this strategy. I knew that if one of us took her out, it would be too tempting for BTS to resist. They’d see it as their chance to get to her, especially if they believed we were letting our guard down by allowing her out in public."

He leaned back, a smirk playing on his lips as he continued. "The plan was simple: Vernon would leave Yuri alone just long enough for BTS to make their move. Once they did, I would step in at the perfect moment, turning the situation to our advantage. They wanted to tell her the truth, but I made sure I had something even more shocking to reveal, something they wouldn’t expect and wouldn’t be prepared to counter."

Jeonghan’s eyes gleamed with satisfaction. "I knew that by playing on her doubts and fears, I could manipulate her emotions. By the time I was done, she wouldn’t just distrust BTS—she’d see us as the only ones she could rely on. It was all about making sure she felt like we were her true protectors, the only ones who had always been there for her. With her mind in turmoil, she wouldn’t want to go with them. She’d stay with us, where she feels safe."
