Yuri was crying, and Jungkook gently patted her back. “Hey, don’t cry...”

“I miss them. I don’t know why, but I don’t feel good. Why did they let me go? They said they would always protect me.i can understand scoups never liked me but Why didn’t mingyu or Wonwoo stop you guys from taking me?”

Jungkook looked into her sympathetic eyes, kneeling in front of her and holding her hand. “You know, sometimes we’re just powerless to change things. Maybe they had their own reasons, just like the bts hyungs have theirs.”

She looked at him, and he smiled softly. “You know, Wonwoo hyung seemed different around you. I saw him looking so worried for you, so desperate. I haven’t seen that side of Jeon Wonwoo in so long. I’m really happy he’s finally feeling again. After all life has always gave him pain.”

Yuri looked at him, confusion etched on her face. “What do you mean?”

Jungkook took a deep breath, recalling his memories. “As you already know, Wonwoo hyung and I are cousins. His mother died giving birth to him, and his father, devastated by the loss, blamed him for it. He treated Wonwoo horribly, locking him away, beating him, and never letting him have friends. My parents cared for him like their own, so he and I were like best brothers. He was the best hyung—always looking out for me when our parents weren’t home. We went to school together and shared everything. But one day…”

Yuri leaned closer, eager to hear what happened next. Yuri looked up at Jungkook, her eyes wide with a mix of confusion and curiosity. “But what happened? What changed?”

Jungkook's expression grew somber as he recalled the painful memories.
“Wonwoo hyung’s father… he became even more unstable over time. One day, during a violent fight, he lost control and Wonwoo hyung accidentally killed him. In that moment, it felt like everything shattered. But instead of dealing with the aftermath, Wonwoo vanished. Nobody knew where he went, not even us, and I was left feeling completely lost.”

Yuri’s eyes widened in shock. “He… killed his father?”

Jungkook nodded, his expression heavy with the weight of those memories. “It wasn’t an intentional act; it was an accident fueled by rage and fear. Wonwoo didn’t mean for it to happen. But after that, he was overwhelmed. He couldn’t face anyone, not even me. I was left with so many questions and no answers. My parents searched for him everywhere, but it was like he had disappeared from the world. As for me, things got tough at home, too. After a while, my parents faced some financial issues, and we lost everything. Instead of dealing it my parents killed themselves and I ended up on the streets alone, trying to survive. I was lost, but I always hoped I’d see Wonwoo hyung again because he was the only family left for me.”

Yuri gasped, her eyes widening in disbelief. “You lived on the streets?”

“Yeah,” Jungkook said, looking down for a moment. “It was rough, but I eventually found my way to a shelter. That’s where I met Jin hyung, who helped me get back on my feet and introduced me to the mafia. I often wondered if Wonwoo was out there, too, still searching for a way to escape his past.”

Yuri reached out, squeezing his hand gently. Jungkook continued, his voice filled with nostalgia. “When I came here, I was just 15 years old. I met the hyungs—Namjoon, Jin, Taehyung, Yoongi, Hobi, and Jimin. They all took care of me and showed me so much love. They trained me, and by the time I turned 18, I finally became a mafia member.”

He paused, reflecting on the bond he had formed with his new family. “Back then, Seventeen and BTS were neither enemies nor allies, but we were both troubled by the same enemies—Super Junior. To take them down, we proposed a temporary alliance, and they accepted.”
