Maithili's Pov
"Come on the jet is here," Aarav's voice reached me as I stood on one of the balconies overlooking the beautiful garden outside, of course, my face was covered and I had taken precautions not to be seen, I was way too eager to breathe in some fresh air, so I had gone up to one of the scheduled balconies to spend some time alone.
"I'm scared," I say as soon as Aarav reaches me and stands beside me, looking out towards the garden.
"Scared of what little princess?" he asks and I look at him.
"Everything, right now, I'm scared of everything," I say and he finally looks at me.
"Well if you don't mind me saying," he says as I nod my head for him to go on, "You being out here, free of all the rules and restrictions and scared is much better than being scared there back at the palace with the Princey boy," he says as a smile spread on my lips. He is right about that.
"Also, I think that you're finally away you can very much do what you want to do, don't try to think what will happen when you get caught, or what will happen once you meet your parents again, or what their reactions are going to be because honestly, I think they would be relieved once they would know that you're fine," he says and looks back at the sunset, "Parents care for their children, even if you think they'll be angry at you for not doing what they want, it's your life, I think they'll be fine once they see how happy and well you are away from the palace," he completes as I take in his every word, his words felt a little deep when he talked about his parents as I wonder what happened all of a sudden to the enthusiastic Aarav.
"Thank you," I say, as he looks back at me with raised eyebrows, "For telling me this, I'm at least momentarily distracted from overthinking," I say as he chuckles at my answer and I smile at him back.
"Good, now shall we leave?" he asks and I nod.
And after the next fifteen minutes, we were on the Private Jet to Ooty, I didn't know Aarav had such rich friends but I heard a little bit of conversation in the car and I knew he was talking to some uncle, I guess he was some rich man, but I didn't listen to much of the conversation because I was deep in thoughts about my current situation and it didn't feel right to listen.
"It will at least take eight to nine hours for us to reach there," Aarav says as he takes a seat on one of the seats in front of me. I smile and rest my head back on the seat and watch him. Just then the attendant walked towards us, she looked our age and at that, she looked beautiful, as she gave a nod to me and a huge smile at Aarav.
"Hello, sir, my name is Sara, I'll be your attendant for this flight," she tells him as I frown at her. I'm on this flight too, I wanted to tell her but I just gave her a mean look and looked out the window.
My face was anyways covered, I had a scarf wrapped around my head, a face mask on my mouth, and glasses on my eyes, some might think it was weird for me to wear the glasses at night but if I gotta hide my identity this was the closest I can do to hide it.
