Tanjiro's pov

After getting my energy back up from some food, water, and sleep, I blushed after remembering that Lynn hugged me and how close we were when she helped me before. 'I'm glad she's warming up to me, so much so she feels comfortable with me touching her.' I had already introduced Nezuko to Lynn. I had explained to her that Lynn doesn't like to be touched. She only half listened, so instead of hugging her or laying her lap, she settled for just holding her hand. Which, I was shocked that Lynn allowed it. 'My sister and love or both getting along so well~' I fantasized over the idea.

Lynn was currently sitting criss cross, with Nezuko attached to her hand. Her other hand was in her lap. She had yet to change out into her other clothes, she hadn't been changed out her mask. They sat in the corner of the room, Lynn just stared at us blankly. I was currently talking to Urokodaki-San about the mutated demon I had killed. As well as what had been happening to his former students from before.

Lynn's pov

'This girl, she really seems to like me...' I thought, then the warning voice rang in my head. 'She's a demon, she can't be trusted. You don't Ben know her. You don't know how dangerous she can be. Giving her your hand is a mistake.' It was times like this that I just generally didn't care about what it had to say.

The following words from Urokodaki-San made me begin to listen in. "You know, there are many types of demons." He began, "the demons with special "blood demon art", are the demons with supernatural abilities." 'Blood Demon Art?' "You and Lynn may have to face some with these abilities in the future. And fighting these demons with supernatural abilities, will be far harder than any others you've fought before." He continued.

"So, is Nezuko different because of this bloody art thing?" Tanjiro-Kun asked, looking passed Urokodaki-San towards us. "No, I do t think so." Urokodaki-San added, "I think Nezuko regains her energy through sleeping, instead of consuming human flesh."

Lynn's pov

Later that night, we arranged so that me and Nuzuko-Chan would sleep in one room. While the boys slept in the other. I was currently pretending to sleep when I heard the door slid open. By the sound of the foot steps I figured out that it was Tanjiro-Kun. He sat down against the wall closest to Nezuko-Chan. "I will protect you both, Lynn, Nezuko." I didn't know wither to be hurt by the fact that he thought I needed protection or touched that he wanted to protect me.

(Another time skip)

Fifteen days later we were still waiting on the uniforms and the swords. I was in the house that we all lived in, when I heard the sound of chimes from ofc in the near distance. "Someone's coming," I warned both Tanjiro-Kun and Urokodaki-San. "Most likely your sword-smiths." Urokodaki-San replied. He sat up and headed to the door to great whoever was coming. Tanjiro-Kun followed after and once at the door way, he motioned for me to follow suit. Which, I rather reluctantly did.

"Hello?" Tanjiro-Kun tests. I see a man in front of us, he had on a hat with purple paper candle-looking wind chimes made of glass. (Hopefully that makes sense). His face was covered with an ugly looking pink mask. It kind of resembled Urokodaki-San's, to an extent. He wore a long, sun flower patterned haori. Along with a spotted head scarf that's tied into a bow below his chin. He had a sort of baggage tied around his chest, strapping it to his back. There seemed to be two swords in there.

He then started to point out Tanjiro-Kun's hair and eye color. Explaining that he must be special because of it. 'How odd can this man get.' I thought, watching his odd behaviors.

After a short while, Urokodaki-San welcomed him inside. We all sat down on the floor, me and Tanjiro-Kun on one side of the room, and Urokodaki-San and the strange man on the other side of the room across from us. He introduced himself as, Hotaru Haganezuka. Haganezuka-San began unwrapping our swords and handed one to Tanjiro-Kun, and the other to me. They were both in black seaths and seemed to be VERY well kept.

"Come on! Draw it already!" Haganezuka-San rushed us. Tanjiro-Kun drew his out first, the color turned black! The color black slowly crept up the sword from the base to the tip of the blade. 'Isn't water breathing supposed to be blue? What does this mean?' Tanjiro-Kun also seemed shocked to see his sword not turn blue.

Haganezuka-San and Urokodaki-San became silent. I took my blade out and waited for it to turn colors. The base color crept up to the tip just as Tanjiro-Kun's had, except mine was a maroon/ dark red color. Too light to be black, but too dark to be fire breathing. "I dont recognize our color, what does this mean?" I asked. Me and Tanjiro-Kun both looked expectingly.

"Black?! And Maroon?!" The man snorted. "How interesting," Urokodaki-San commented. "Does that mean that there is something wrong with our colors?" Tanjiro-Kun asked, concern and worry lining his voice. "Not at all, it's just unusual. Black swords are rare, and, I have never heard or seen a maroon sword before..." Urokodaki-San explained. 'He's lying, black and maroon swords are unlucky, aren't they...'

"And here I was hoping I'd get to see a sword turn bright red!!" Haganezuka-San yelled out. He then charged at Tanjiro-Kun and I. Which, I dodged with ease. Tanjiro-Kun wasn't so lucky. He got tackled down by the older male. 'And this is why your on Gaurd all the time Tanjiro-Kun,' I scolded him in my head, 'what an idiot, a sweat idiot though..'

Tanjiro-Kun's crow flew in through the window, landing gracefully to the floor. The bird gave Tanjiro-Kun and the man an odd look before speaking. "Tanjiro Kamado, I come with orders." After saying this Tanjiro-Kun finally managed to get out of Haganezuka-San's hold. He held the man's arm away from his face as it tried to reach out to scratch him. "You and Accardo-San must make your way to a village north-east of here! Young girls have begun to go missing there! So, hurry! Prepare yourselves well! For this is your first mission!" The crow finished.
