Under Attack

Reader pov

  In an alley way, the walls made out several buildings, there was a sound of something bouncing on the ground. Over and over and over again. A single temari handball clasped into the hands of a demon. In another demons hands, town eyes opened. Reavealing their green sclera and orange iris's. Their pupils were black arrows pointing up.

  The hands traveled an inch from the ground and swerved around as if searching for something. The skin was pale, the dull nails being a simaler pale color. "You see anything?" A female demon with the temari handball in hand asked her partener. "Yes, I can see their foot prints." The male with eyes on the palms of his hands replied. His eyes moved around. "No doubt this is them, they make a sharp turn over there." He pointed ahead of them, toward the corner that turns left.

  "There are four of them that headed that way." He smirked to himself as he talk, then stood up. "I wonder how we should kill them?" The girl tossed the ball in the air and proceeded to bounce it up and down as she spoke. "Just remember, we can't kill the girl with the fox mask." He reminded his college. "Oh well, surely she'll hold up a fight at least. It would be boring if she didn't." "But of course, we will be as ruthless as possible when we kill the rest of them." He stated cruelly.

Lynn's pov

  "There is a way," Tamayo informed us. Tanjiro-Kun jumped up this and was about to make a B-Line for Tamayo-Chan, when tripped him and Yushiro-Kun caught him. He then flipped Tanjiro-Kun in his back and slammed him onto the ground. A dark aura interred the room. I looked over to see Lady Tamayo, VERY upset with Yushiro-Kun. "Yushiro," her voice was threatening and unforgiving.

He looked over to her and bowed before saying, "apologies my lady. Though, I only threw him, I didn't hit him." This did not convince Lady Tamayo. "Neither is expectable," she threatened. "Yes ma'am," Yushiro responded. Tanjiro-Kun was rubbing his head as he spoke, "man, that really hurt." He then sat up and looked at me upset, 'probably because I tripped him. Though, I don't feel bad about it at all. I have a strange urge to protect Lasy Tamayo. Though, it is no where near Yushiro's undying motivation to protect her.' "Can you please tell me how?" He asked Lady Tamayo.

"There is always some kind of medicine or aid, no matter the wound or illment." She announced to us. "I don't know how to turn a demon back into a human," she revealed to us. "But there surely must be a way." 'She reminds me of Maia, always so sweet and motherly. But powerful and strong at the same time.' Tanjiro-Kun looked slightly upset and disappointed. "But I promise, we will find it. We are dedicated to establishing such a treatment." She added. "Toward that end, I'd like to ask you to do something for me." She asked us. "In order to find a cure, the first step is observing a bunch of different demons blood." She informed us.

"Which means I have two requests to ask of you." She then stated her requests. "First, I would like permission to study your sisters blood. Second, I need more samples, I'd like you to retrieve them from other demons, as closely related to Kibutsuji as possible." She then looked at the black haired demon, that was currently playing with my long hair in my lap. "Your sister's condition is odd, maybe entirely unique." She told Tanjiro-Kun. "I understand that she was asleep for two years. Her body must have changed in that time." She commented to us. "Normally, a demon could not survive without human flesh, or even without the blood of some sort of animal. They will undoubtedly grow violent." She mentioned. "However, Nezuko is showing none of those signs. That miracle could be the key to finding a cure."

Tanjiro-Kun reached his hand out for Nezuko. Which, she gladly excepted. "But my second request, is not a simple one." She proceeded to warn us. "Those that are closely related to Kibutsuji. I mean demons that have high powers, and incredible strength, speed, and regeneration. Extracting blood from that kind of demon won't be easy. Will you accept our requests?" She asked us. Tanjiro-Kun looked over to Nezuko-Chan and I. He responded soon after. "If it is the only way, then I'll do it." For the first time since we got here I spoke up. "I will help as well, if that's all right." They stared at me for a few seconds, and I was worried I had said something wrong. "Of course, Thankyou." Lady Tamayo thanked me.

I then felt two demons presences. 'Their past the illusion, their just outside the house.' The voice warned me. "Get down!" Yushiro called out. He ran over and proceeded to shield Lady Tamayo, as I did the same for Nezuko-Chan, I also pulled Tanjiro-Kun closed to me.
