𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐃𝐎𝐎𝐑 𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐊𝐄𝐃 as the three stepped into a circular chamber. In the centre of the room was a blue hologram map. Din went first, still brandishing his blasters, and kept close to the wall. Suddenly, the door shut behind them, trapping them in the dimly lit room. Din backtracked, moving to the keypad to open it, but the doors did not budge.
Then, the door opposite slid open, revealing an empty corridor. Ari's racing heart slowed the slightest bit, and she relaxed, only for a booming voice to sound from every corner, and Din pushed Arani behind a pillar.
"My clones were finally going to be perfect." It was Moff Gideon. "The best parts of me, but improved by adding the one thing I never had. The Force." Armor whirred, and Ari risked a glance over her shoulder. Gideon had now revealed himself, and he was slowly stalking towards them.
"I was isolating the potential to wield the Force," he continued, "and incorporating it into an unstoppable army. And you smothered them before they could draw their first breath."
Without a signal to Din, Ari jumped from her hiding spot and fired at Gideon. Each shot struck his chest plate and pushed him back a few steps, but it wasn't much before Gideon returned fire. Launching a missile at the young woman, Ari was forced to dive behind a stack of nearby crates.
Another round of shots rang out, and Ari peeked around the crates. Din was now firing at the man, flying straight for him. However, Gideon managed to fling him off, and Din flew into a large crate, crashing to the floor.
Stepping away from her protective barrier, Ari rushed at Gideon, sparks flying off his armour as she fired round after round. Was it foolish to think she could take on Gideon? Yes, but she was blinded by years of rage. All she had fought for had been undone in a heartbeat because of him. He had hurt her family for far too long.
The girl was an arm's length away when Gideon faced her and grasped her blaster fearlessly. "Hello, Senator." Despite wearing a helmet, Ari could picture the bone-chilling smile on his face. He wrenched the weapon from her, twisting her wrist. Before she could react, he grabbed her shirt and threw her aside.
Ari landed on her side, and the wave of pain crashed over her. Clutching her side, she watched as Gideon exchanged punches with Din. A crackling was heard, and the girl glanced over her shoulder to find three Guards with batons stalking towards them.
"Shit," muttered Ari as she stood. Neither she nor Din had their blasters. She sent a quick glance to the Mandalorian, and he nodded curtly. A second later, the guards were on them, and the couple was dodging batons.
Ari could only take on one, leaving Din outnumbered. The girl kicked at a guard's leg, and they fell to the ground. Carelessly, she grabbed the baton, the purple electricity crackling.
