Chapter 4: He's back

It's been 2 days and I have been focusing mostly on my work and assisting snape when I can in my free period yesterday and also after dinner. He said he didn't need me till Friday which I was happy about because then I could do the homework that has already been set by snape himself or other teachers.

It was just after dinner when everyone was leaving the great hall when primerose was waiting outside fidgeting with her fingers and it made me want to know what was wrong.

"Hey rose what's wrong" I ask worried if it's the younger 2.

"My friend was missing for 2 days and she's just come back all messed up and she won't say anything about where she's been or what's happened" she said all panicked and rushed.

"I can help where is she" as I say this she instantly takes me to the ravenclaw common room which is her house and where her friend is. We head in going straight through to the bedrooms and find that she sat on her bed tears flowing but no emotion on her face.

"Hey kenzie, can you tell what's happened. You your safe her and I'm here to help" I say sweetly trying not to cause anymore damage. She slowly brings her eyes to mine and takes a deep breathe.

"I was being tortured by someone" she stops and looks at rose and I know that she doesn't want to say much more infront of others so I tell her to wait outside. She does so and Kenzie looks back at me. "I don't know if I should continue" she says looking down at her sheets.

"Hey we need to make sure that whoever this was gets what they deserve okay and keep you safe no matter what" I lift her chin up to have her look at me and she nods.

"Umm well I was kidnapped during the night by someone and when I was able to see who I found out it was professor lupin but it wasn't him speaking it was someone else at the back of his head wanting information about 2 people who apparently were meant to be apart of his 'army' but I didn't know anything but he still tortured me until he actually found nothing and next thing I know I was in the dark forest near Hagrids hut and just came straight her because I just wanted to be alone" she said tears still pouring down her face and pulled her into a hug reassuring her.

"You know what I have to do know don't you" I ask and she nods "by any chance could you tell me names at all of the people he was talking about" wanting to know who they were to tell dumbledore and she agreed to tell me.

"The names where Tabitha Holloway and Garrett Anders or something" she says and I'm shocked by the names of my own parents but I reassure her that everything will be perfectly fine and it will all be sorted. I walk out and tell rose that everything will be okay and that her friend just need someone to keep an eye on her and that she was tortured so she would need to be careful about information.

I manage to get to dumbledores office before I could even think about my parents. I knocked on his door but got inpatient waiting for an answer so I just walked right in.

As I got inside I realised that snape was in the room assuming they were having some kind of meeting that wasn't meant to be interrupted.

"I'm sorry should I come back later" I said quick about to leave when he chirped up.

"Oh no it's okay we were just talking about you so it's perfect timing" he says looking at snape and back to me.

"Why are you talking about me" I ask almost forgetting about Kenzie's issue.

"Just how professor was saying that you have been very helpful to him being his assistant and maybe you wouldn't mind being his assistant until you leave if that is okay with you of course" dumbledore says and I'm a little taken aback by it but I agree non the less.

"I'm sorry but I just wanted to talk about another student and it's quite urgent actually" I say as normal and professional as I can.

"Yes of course. Do you want Severus to be in the conversation as well" he asks and it seems like a good idea.

"Ye it might help. But the student in question is Kenzie Whitlock the one in ravenclaw whose friends with my sister. She's just arrived back..." I'd say being interrupted

"Wait really is she okay" dumbledore asks desperately.

"She's alright now and in her dorm but she was tortured by Quirrill but it wasn't him actually speaking it was someone at the back of his head and 2 names where mentioned who were in his army" I explain the rest and what the names where and how it all happened. They both seemed like they knew who was behind it all. I didn't mention them being my parents as snape might not know and I'd like to keep it that way for now.

"Alright well we will need to keep an eye out and maybe push the meeting forward Severus as this is important information. Oh and El I would like you to join the meeting." He's says and I'm shocked because I've never been to these meeting nor did I even know who was going to be there.
