The shadowed prophecy

Chapter 36: rescue mission

We arrived at the department we needed and went through the door prepared for anything. We shone our wands to find our way to her. Lupin was at the front and I was at the back.

We found her not far from we're we came in and lupin tried to apparate out but something stopping him. "I can't apparate out we will need to carry her out, quickly find the prophecy before she needs desperate help." He says picking her up. I realise I had a vial in my pocket I pull it out and realise it was a blood replenishing potion. Sev always thinking ahead of there was a problem.

"Wait I have a blood replenishing potion give it to her quickly so we have more time." I say and he puts her down so she could drink it. After that it was time to find this stupid prophecy and get out.

I tried to track it and see where it would be and I led them to where it was on 'accident' to not make them think I was any sort of powerful. Harry had it in his hands ready to leave when me and lupin looked at each other knowing we both heard something. Navigating our way back out the noise was loud enough for the others to hear. "What was that?" Asked Harry no one knew what it was and we kept walking back to the door. Footsteps behind us and I looked behind us to see who it was. Lucien, he was smiling following us. I told them to get out now and they looked behind hem and saw him too and ran for the door. I shot a spell "stupify" before get through the door and it closed before I could shoot another.

We were safe and someone from the ministry was waiting for us and help us to the closest port key to get us back to Hogwarts. She seemed quite lovely getting us back and then home was around us. Severus was there I wanted to go hug him but refrained doing so and he quickly got the cure into Lunas system and she took a deep breathe opening her eyes. We were all relieved she was back and safe, she needed rest so lupin took him to the hospital wing for pomfrey to help with the healing process. Harry and his friends also left with lupin to go back to bed. The door closed and all I wanted was for him to hug me so I turned to him tired from that little energy I used, I was already tied enough from the week and the shapeshifting as well. I ran into his arms and he held me tightly and knowing that I was safe and secure. We had forgot where we were when we heard Dumbledore cough behind me. I released my grip from and looked at him, he smiled and so did Mcgonagall. "I think it's time for bed and I suggest going to your own beds you 2. I'm sure your both just as tired as I. Now off you go and I'll see you all in the morning." He said we left. Out of Mcgonagall's sight we quickly kissed before departing our own separate ways.

"See you tomorrow my gorgeous peach." He says to me.

"Goodnight stud, I'll see you tomorrow." I say winking at him and he laughs a bit and smiles at me. I leave and make my way to my dorm room.

Once I arrive it was almost 11:30 and my friends were fast asleep thankfully. I get myself ready for bed and fall fast asleep straight away. When I woke the next day it felt like I hadn't slept much at all. My friends were also just waking up too, I look at my clock and it 7:35am, I grunted from tiredness but grudgingly sat up. They all saw me in bed and started questioning me.

"Where were you El you went to Dumbledore's office and didn't come back before we fell asleep?" Gen asked and they all wanted an answer.

"It was a really long meeting about my studies and how I was doing. There was a lot of information, I had only got back about 11:30 last night. It really wasn't exciting." I say lying again. I still hadn't told them about everything yet and I didn't know when I was going to tell them. I think that I need to tell them this year before my birthday. I wanted to talk with my grandmother first before saying anything to them and regretting it. "I'm gonna get ready now for breakfast." I tell them jumping out of bed and seeing I had bruises all over my legs from who know what. I look at them confused and a little scared.

I managed to get to the bathroom without the others really getting the chance to ask more questions I didn't know the answer to. Brushing m teeth Bella came to do the same thing and we did it in silence. I brushed my hair and left to pick an outfit. I grabbed a simple tank top and one of Sevs jumpers I stole and pairing it with some mustard sailor paints and my platforms black Mary janes. I waited and chatted with the girls while they also got dressed for the day. We talked about a party tonight in our common room as a here's for a new start type style. We wanted to spread the news at breakfast so everyone got to prepare for it and get excited.

The walk to breakfast we saw quite a few others so we mentioned the party to them so they could spread it to their friends in their houses which was great as we wanted as many people there.
