Chapter 26: summer decision

As I'd finished up my final exam I was ready to finally get sleep without feeling anxious or nervous about not studying enough when I was in the library the most with Hermione Granger by my side. We had bonded over a few things and I shared with her that I might finish early and she was inspired by it and thought she might want to do the same. I had advised her that she spend as much time out of the library as she did in the library.

Once I was out of the exam I went straight to the bathroom because I needed to vomit from relief. I went back to my dorm after that but I found my sister waiting outside for me I assume. She smiled as I arrived and she told me to go with her.

"Where are going?" I asked her because she didn't tell me anything.

"The headmaster told me that he needed to speak to us both together he didn't mention what he wanted from us but he just needed us to get to his office as soon as we finish our exams." She explained and we walked to his office and I hadn't been in there since the cocaine incident. As we got to the door it was open and he sat at his desk with the phoenix by his side. "Hi sir we are here like you asked." She said politely to him and he greeted us with a smile.

"I hope you both feel good about your exams now that you both have finished them. I ask you both here because you won't be going back to your aunts house this summer as the house has been ransacked by the dark lords followers again not finding you guys or your family as it was still in a state it was left in so everyone is to be divided into various peoples homes." He explained and me and primrose looked at each other not sure if we'd be separated.
"A few of your cousins old enough to be here have been accepted into their friends homes for the summer we are then left with you 2 and your brothers and aunt Florence family who we have given them a place at Flit-wick home and as for you 2 it wouldn't work so mollie Weasley has offered a space and so had Snape so it's up to you both to choose who you want to go with." He said I looked at my sister knowing that she had a crush on one of the twins so I agreed she could go with the Weasley's.

"Rose will go with the Weasley's and I'll go with Snape. She will be more comfortable in a loving home with the Weasley's" I said smiling and looking back at Dumbledore. He smiled at us and nodded.

"Right now that's sorted I will let Millie know that she'll have Rose with her for the summer and can I put it to you El to let Snape know that you'll stay with him. I think he'd want to hear it from you" he says and I nod and he lets us go. I went to his classroom to tell him the news so he knew as soon as possible because I wanted to see him anyways. As I got to his classroom the door is open as if he knew I'd come find him after my exams. I knock on the door to alert him of my presence before entering. Once I had entered and walking down to his desk the door closed behind me and locked.

"I have news! I'll be with you this summer. I hope that you are okay with that sir." I smile at him and he smiles back.

"I'm ecstatic about the news now come her and sit on my lap. I need to feel you right now because I've missed you the last 2 weeks since you've not been coming round here" he says and I feel sorry that I wasn't here because of how tired I was just from all the studying and exams.

"I'm sorry, I've just been so tied up with exams and studying I forgot abo.." I start to say but I'm interrupted.

"No it's okay I know the feeling it was only 3 years ago I was sitting my N.E.W.Ts so I know the stress of exams and remembering everything but you can relax now" he says kissing me gently and passionately. I feel myself relaxing in his touch after his words. "Since it's only 2 why don't you go into the bedroom and have a nap and I'll wake you up if you sleep till dinner okay" he says and I'm glad he offered me his bed because I was really tired from staying up late and waking up early.

I fell asleep for what felt like days knowing that the stress of exams was over. When I wake up I look at the time to see it's now 5, I had taken a 3 hour nap and was thankful for it. I got out of the bed and headed to the bedroom to freshen up a bit before finding Severus and going to dinner.

I find Severus exactly we're I left him for a nap still grading the exam papers ready for Friday. I go up to him from behind rap my arms around his chest and he flinches a little at my touch but remembered I'd stayed and turned to kiss me. I was glad to have him and be able to talk with and rest with him.

"Feeling better now peach?" He asked and I realised how much I missed his nicknames for me as I smiled and blushed a little.

"Yes I am. It felt I slept a lifetime but I'm refreshed ready for dinner whenever you are" I say coming round straddling him. Arms around his neck kissing him some more. "I've actually missed you and your touch and I'm very sorry for not even assisting you at all." I apologise and he shakes his head.

"No worries darling you were occupied and I didn't need help anyways. I would of had you study anyways. I also saw how drained you were when you showed up to the great hall at food times. That's when you showed." He said smiling and with an understanding look. He grades a few more papers and I was glad to be in his presence just reading a book he'd saved for me.

Once he was done we walked to the great hall and explaining to people he needed my help with cleaning because was busy with grading that he couldn't clean the mess a student had made earlier that day. Which was kind of true a first year had smashed a veil of an easy potion he could remake easily.
