Chapter 8: party

Finishing up my book I look at the time and it's almost 6:15pm and it was less than an hour till dinner and I had realised I was here for almost 2 and a half hours just reading and no one knowing where I was. Well apart from dumbledore. I quickly got myself together walked down to the hufflepuff common room with the supplies and said I had the stuff and was going to put it in our room for later.

"Hey why did you take so long" ask Nyx

"Oh went to the library really quick for a book and got distracted but I'm here now with everything so there is no need to worry no more" I advised and we all got ready to go down to the great hall for dinner. I got to wear something I got from Christmas, it was some gorgeous navy blue coloured sailor pants with a crème sweater and Mary Jane style heels.

I walk in with people already seated and finding somewhere we could sit and chat about our weeks and how much homework everyone hasn't done yet. I laughed with them and tried to make people aware that we were gathering for a little party.

When we finished we went back to the common room and m friends all wanted to start he drinking and drugs. I made sure hey knew what they where doing with the cocaine and smoking weed. We had some alcohol as well while getting ready. Once we were done we got uni the common room and there were lots of people that had come for the party from all houses and with various drinks. Most of the people where from 4th 5th and 6th year and a few from other years except 1st year as they're too scared they'd get caught.

After a bit I had brought down the drugs I had and shared it with people who wanted to do it. We were all having the Tim of our life and a lot of people where passed out because they had drugs and couldn't handle it for long and others were leaving being responsible enough to get to bed at around 9:20 which was 10 minutes before curfew. A lot of them being Ravenclaws and a few Gryffindors.

It was almost 11pm when everyone that was still conscious had left for there own rooms. The most unconscious people were other Hufflepuff and some Gryffindors and Ravenclaws. I had seen one or 2 that were from Slytherin which is a little surprising but I had let them be and not embarrass anyone.

The next day I seemed to be the only one that was well enough to help everyone out that wasn't in our house. Some of the younger years had also help me as a lot of people hadn't woken up in our common room so we had a mission of waking people up and giving them some relief with the Lenien spell that I helped some that didn't know how to do so they could ye it on the people but also themselves. Once I had help everyone in the common room I started with the people in our house and getting everyone in a comfortable enough way to go into the great hall.

We had walked into great hall and there was a lot of people that still looked a little rough from the night before. The teachers at the main table seemed a little concerned and questioning what was happening. Not everyone was able to make it but once most of the people where in the great hall dumbledore stood at the front to get our attention.

"Everyone can I have your attention" he said and the small conversations that where happening had stopped. Everyone looked at him waiting for him to continue.

"Us teacher are concerned as to why so many of you seem so rough around the edges and tired" he continued and questioned us all.

"If anyone would like to say something please say it now before we start questioning individuals from each house" he said eagerly and there were a few students who raised there hand including the Weasley twins. "Fred and George how about you guys start" he says smiling at them slightly.

"There was an absolute rager last night" Fred said

"Yeah it was absolutely bonkers how well it was and how quickly people found out" George added some people had cheered at this who were able to.

"And where was it? Was there any alcohol or substances at this so called raging party?" He seemed eager to know and seemed a little angry.

"Well I don't know if you should know. You might be disappointed." Says Fred with a giggle and some other laughed too. Probably still drunk.

"Fred this is serious but I guess it's best that you were all safe and sound in the castle" he says softening his voice at the end. "But I'd like to discipline the right house and/or the person who suggested the party" trying to pry harder out of us but it seems that everyone doesn't want to cause any damage or concurrences to our house or friend group. That's until a hand went up and that hand belonged to Cho Chang.

"From what I've heard from fellow classmates is that it was at Hufflepuff common room sir and the group that initiated the party are.. are right there" she says pointing right at our group. I heard some disappointed noises surrounding us but also from other houses as they had enjoyed the party.

"Right thank you Cho you can sit down now. 50 points from Hufflepuff and the 8 students in that group will be having detention in various classrooms so you cannot plan anymore parties for the next 3 weeks understand. You will report to my office at 10:30 for me to tell you who you will be having detentions with." We all nod and he continues "thank you all, you may eat" and food appeared.

It had looked like there was a lot of recovery food that helped everyone feel better after last night.
