Chapter 49: shifting lesson

it was Saturday afternoon and Dumbledore walks in and I look up from my book I was reading and smile at him and call my siblings into the living room. they all come in and greet Dumbledore and Snape also comes in ready to help. 

"right first lesson on shapeshifting. el what's the first rule?" he asks me and as I remember all 5 rules of shapeshifting I repeat what he told me.

"rule one don't do it if it isn't necessary such as showing off to friends." I respond.

"good now the rest of the rules are also just as important and they are; don't get too carried away, don't get distracted while shifting, be prepared for any situation, and be careful of your surroundings." he says "that seems simple enough for you all. now lets get started with changing into birds or small creatures such as rabbits, dogs and cats." he continued "el please demonstrate." I do so and change into my cat form then back to human and then into a dog. after showing them how it was done they all tried it themselves by turning into some kind of dog or cat or bird. turns out we are all red merle Australian Shepard which is good, we are all siamese cats with slightly different coloring. 

after 3 hours of the lesson it was over and they all seem really knackered after that. for me it wasn't as bad with the lessons ive already had. they had all fallen asleep on the sofa which im not surprised with how much they all did in that lesson. I went into his office as he was finishing up something. 

"hey, they all fell asleep on the sofa thought we could get busy with ourselves." I say walking over and straddling on his lap bring my hands up his arms and over his broad shoulders and one hand goes into his hair and one goes to his face. his hands roam over my thighs and to my butt as I start grinding against him. a smirk arises from his lips and I start feeling his largeness getting hard as I keep riding him.

he picks me up and puts me his desk kissing me hard and passionately. we clean up after quickly and when we leave it was 4:45 and they were all still fast asleep, I pull one of the blankets out and put it over them and grab a book and head to my room to read it for a little while. when I finally look up from my book and the clock on my bedside table I see that ive been reading for almost 3 hours and I panic a little bit and head downstairs. I find that Severus has already started cooking and I relax a little knowing he remembered to serve dinner. he turns around and smiles at me.

"you should wake up your siblings foods going to be ready soon and with how you wake up im sure they would hate being woken up as much as you do." he says and smile at him and roll my eyes before going into the living room to wake them up. 

"hey wake up dinners ready." I say quietly and they slowly wake up. "GET UP NOW OR THE FOOD WILL GO TO WASTE!!" I shout and they instantly get up and head into the kitchen. 'is that how I need to wake you up in the mornings from now on.' Severus says through the connection. I smile at him and tell him 'absolutely not, if you do I'll kick you in the balls.' he sends down a giggle to that and we go eat the food he just made. "its nice to be able to eat like a family like this, like we do at Flo's house over the summer" I say to the people at the table and they look at me.

"your parents never did this even when you were toddlers?" sev asks and we shake our head no.

"no they never did, they were terrible parents who should've never had kids." I say "but if she didn't have us then id never have my chosen family or." I finish the sentence there as I don't want my siblings to know the relationship yet.

"or what el, you just start your sentence and never finished it." aks raven. I sigh and think quickly about what to say and I think of something.

"or be able to see you guys grow into amazing young wizards and witch, and potential crush our parents in the war against the dark lord." I reply and they seem happy with my response.

we eat in silence for a bit until Severus pipe up about our friends. "so your friends seem to be getting better already and are still doing well in their classes. they're still planning that party in Hufflepuff in remembrance of you guys." he says and we all nod.

"that sounds nice, too bad we can't attend. what about the family what's happening with them." I ask him.

"oh they're doing alright, they know now that we had to take you away for safety but who knows if they'd actually find you if they tried." he says and im surprised that they even told them and now.

"wait why tell now if ever. that just means they might worry even more." I say.

"well we didn't tell all of them just your aunt and uncle, Florence and Peter and they understand that it needs to stay a secret. there's only 4 people that know that your alive and 2 that know where you are so don't worry." he responds to me and he seems quite chill. 'darling you are alright please don't worry.' he says through the connection.

 throughout dinner I think about my friends and family that I no longer can see and when ill be able to finally see them again. I helped clean up and went back to my room to read more of my book. even with the book I was still think about my friends and how they'd enjoy the party without me there. would Bernie go and retrieve more of the drugs for the party or would there only be alcohol. I kept over thinking about it all and I wanted to get away so I used again, and I used a lot I can barely remember how I got to bed and if my siblings saw anything.
