After breakfast my group had gone back to the common room to chill and get freshened up for our fate. We had started our trip to the headmasters office just after 10 giving us time to get there talking about last night and how sick it was. We saw a few people on our way and they thanked us for the party and complimenting how great it was to party after the first week back.
"Do you think we should do it again at some point before we leave" I ask the group and they all kind of looking at me slowing down a little to thinking about it. They all agree.
"I'd say yes but I think other houses might do parties as well so I think we should pace ourselves for these parties giving them a little bit so that the teachers don't expect it every time" Nyx says and we all laugh and agree that it's best to stay aware of the staff and how close the parties are.
We get to the office and the eagle is in our way and I check the time and it say 10:25 and it took us 20 minutes to get here which means that we were kind of slow getting here compared to the usual 10 minute walk. It was nice to look at our surroundings and talk and think about the party. Since I was the only one that regularly goes to his office I say the password and it lets us in.
We walk up and I knock on the door asking for entry and I hear a "come in" from were Dumbledores desk usually is. We walk in and are greeted by Dumbledore, Mcgonagall, Snape, Flitwick, Sinistra, Lupin, Trelawney and sprout waiting inside. "Welcome in we have discussed who will go with who before your appearance." He says looking at us all.
"So the way we organised this is to help you guys see what you could be doing in the future if you all keep up with your work. Now firstly, clari you will be going Sinistra, Lou you will be going to Trelawney, Gen you will be going with sprout, Leo you will be with McGonagall, Fin you will be with Flitwick, Bella and Eli would be with Lupin and finally El you will be with Snape as you are already his assistant. I hope that being in the detention with these professors will help you all learn and focus on your studies instead of trying to have parties" he says and smiled at us
"Yes sir" we all say in unison.
"Oh and were there any sort of alcohol or drugs while at this party" he asks worried that I would get caught I took liberty of responding.
"There was only various alcohol and weed sir" I say calmly trying to not sound suspicious.
"Good nothing too strenuous then." He giggled at the end. "Thank you. Now I also hear that one of you taught a little lesson about the lenien spell" he says
"Oh yes that was me. I don't think I could have done everyone so I recruited about 10 younger student to help with some kind of healing spell as I didn't have access to any potion so I thought of the next best thing and I guess I also taught them a new spell during the process" I explain and Dumbledore smiled at it.
"10 points to Hufflepuff for your lesson and another 15 points for helping others out of a painful morning after" he says and that makes me happy all over because of my good deed. I look over at Snape and he roles his eyes at my happiness and points rewarded.
"Do you have a problem sir?" I say already tired of his attitude. He stared straight at me.
"No absolutely not, but you still lost points" he says with a sassy attitude.
"At least I thought more than you can do in 5 minutes" I proclaimed raising my eyebrows at him.
"At least I'm not a student anymore" he continued the argument as if there aren't any other people in the room.
"At least I still have a life and I'm not a brooding asshole" I argued raising my voice a little.
"Oh so I'm a brooding asshole now. Give me a break at least I have a job" he says clearly not knowing me a single bit.
"Oh you think I don't have a job. I fucking do have a job. One that's in fact with you and one that I have in the muggle world that you clearly didn't know because you don't care about a single person other than yourself" I respond not sure how this is going to go.
"Guys can you stop please" Dumbledore says "detention starts tonight 8 o'clock sharp if they are late add another detention onto their time. You all can go now." He says and we all leave. The teachers go back to their classrooms or offices while me and my friends go back to our common room.
We get back to the common room and we get questioned from people. "We all got 3 weeks detention with different professors most of us got different people except Bella and Eli who get the same teacher" I say kinda annoyed at Snape and what he said.
The rest of the day was very chill and I just wandered over to the disused classroom and read a book till it was time for dinner. I walked down on my own hoping to find my friends which I'm thankful I found. I look over at the Ravenclaw table and find that my sister is having fun with her friends and that Kenzie is doing so much better.
