Chapter 28: results and party

I walked into the great hall with Severus escorting me and people starting looking at us, at me. I looked at Severus and he looked at me and nodded before walking to the teachers table. I slowly made my way to where my friends where sat. I smiled at them.

"Hey how you feeling? You just left us yesterday and hours later your in the hospital wing with a fever" Gillie asked and I'm sure everyone is wondering what happened.

"I'm feeling better guys no need to worry anymore. I'm sorry for leaving I just started having a panic attack and I just needed to have some space so I ended up going in the lake for a swim blacked out and woke up in the hospital wing this morning." A half lie. They all said nothing more about the topic and I wondered if they had spoken to Dumbledore about the party. "Hey guys did you end up talking to Dumbledore about the party?" I asked and they looked at me and smiled.

"He actually announced the end of year ball at lunch so we didn't need to and then we started panicking because we couldn't find you. But your clearly okay now so hopefully you will join us tonight for the ball." Andy replied and I was glad we got to celebrate the end of the year. We got to eat breakfast not that I ate as much as them because I wasn't as hungry surprisingly because I hadn't eaten for 24 hours. We went back to our dorm straight after and waited for our results with the window open for the owls to come in and drop them off.

The clock turned 10am and the owls started to fly in one by one to drop our results off. I had gotten 2 assuming one is for my newts and the other for my normal yearly grades. We opened them up and I managed to get a lot of outstanding and expectations and my N.E.W.Ts grades to my surprise where 2 of which were outstanding grades. I guess my astronomy and muggle studies exams went more than well then, but thankfully I past my other 3 arithmancy, History of magic and Divination. We then all decided we would go to hogsmade with everyone else to get dresses for the ball later as we need some new dresses. I would also get some more drugs for me and my friends for the after party but also have some before the ball starts. It didn't take long to find my dealer ready for me when I had arrived at hogsmade. I went and got what I need and found my friends waiting for me about 6 feet away.

After 2 hours of shopping we had all got what we need and stopped to eat at hogs head inn. We were all hungry after our adventures so it was nice to sit and chat about shopping and gossip. We kept gossiping all the way to honey dukes to get some sweets before going back to Hogwarts to get ready for the ball which started at about 7. After we finished up and started walking back to Hogwarts we spotted a few people we knew also walking back as well. It was almost 3:45 when we got into our bedroom and I could have had a nap but I didn't think they would let me this close to the ball so I went for a quick shower and I made us all some coffee afterwards. I was in there for about 15 minutes just making sure I smelt good and look good. I walked out, put on some joggers and a cute off the shoulder top.

The dress I chose was a gorgeous emerald green and I decided to wear my black Mary Jane heels for more comfort and for jewellery I wore some silver dangling earrings shaped like small dragonfly wings. My makeup simple as I didn't want to go all out with it as my dress is kind of out of my comfort zone. While doing my make up we all smoked some weed drank a bit of alcohol and storing some for the punch later. We had also done some lines as well, after yesterday I wasn't sure how I'd react to it but I was fine and once we were all ready we had gone to the great hall not forgetting the alcohol. The boys showed up an hour before we left so they weren't left out of the the drugs.

We arrived at the great hall and I saw Severus watching me come down the stairs and his lips curled upwards slightly. He was with McGonagall, sprout and lupin spitefully and they were talking before they wondered what he was looking and smiling at and then they also stared at me. My cherry red wavy hair styled half up flowing with my dress it would look as if I'm from a movie. Everyone else also stared at me as if they'd never seen me before. It was a little strange but I smiled at Snape but focused on my friends once we had got to the bottom of the stares, everyone had stopped staring at me and continued talking amongst themselves and I was proud of myself, first year me would be terrified but that girl has grown up.

"Everyone listen" Dumbledore had said and everyone stopped talking and gathered. "I hope that you got the grades you wished for and tonight is a celebration of success but to also say goodbye to your fellow 7th years who will leave us. But more on that tomorrow, tonight dance as much as you wish and eat and drink the non-alcoholic beverage. Now enjoy tonight and behave yourself." He says and smiles, the music starts up again and everyone disperses.

Th dance went on as usual with dancing drinking and eating. Me and my friends went straight for the drink to pour the alcohol in and safe to say no one noticed thanks to my friends. We had enjoyed ourselves and we all danced the slow dances together laughing and gossiping about everyone here. I was standing near the wall at one point on my own and something crawled up my spine and through my blood like something was coming and I couldn't concentrate on anything, I dropped my drink on the floor and my mind was overrun by some image of someone wear heels and a red and black dress she was accompanied by a man in a suit and red dress shirt like blood, I recognised the hallway leading it's way to the stairs I had walked just 2 hours ago. I felt someone touch my arm but the imagery wasn't over they were arm in arm now at the top of the stairs and then I was looking straight at Severus.
