Abhimanyu leaned back in his chair, looking at Siya as he tried to figure out his thoughts. "Siya," he started, his voice steady but unsure. "I've been thinking about our marriage."

Siya paused, her heart racing. "What about it?" she asked, keeping her voice calm.

Abhimanyu looked at her closely. "What do you think about it? Are you okay with it?" Siya took a deep breath. "Bhai chose you for me, Abhimanyu. I trust him completely. If he thinks you're right for me, then I trust that."

Abhimanyu looked a little disappointed by her answer. "But what about you? Do you have any doubts? Anything you're unsure about?" Siya shook her head. "I don't have any doubts," she said firmly.

Abhimanyu's expression grew more serious. "Siya, do you... love someone else? Is there anyone else in your life?"

Siya's heart skipped a beat as she looked at him. She wanted to tell him how much she loved him, how much he meant to her. But she couldn't. Not when he didn't remember their past together.

"No," she said quietly, her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't love anyone else." Abhimanyu looked at her for a moment, trying to read her face. He nodded slowly, a mix of relief and confusion showing on his face. "Okay," he murmured, leaning back.

As they ate, Siya's heart ached. The man she loved was right there, but he felt so distant.

"Siya," Abhimanyu said, his voice serious, "you're like a stranger to me. Even if we knew each other before, I don't remember those years. I need to know if you're okay with being with someone who doesn't remember part of his life."

Siya's eyes softened as she nodded. "I get it, Abhimanyu. But I remember those years. Every moment. Isn't it better to have someone who remembers them, who can fill in the gaps for you?"

Abhimanyu thought about it for a moment. "You're right. But why are you willing to be in a marriage with someone you barely know? You haven't even been in Alwar for years."

A flash of frustration crossed Siya's face. "It's you who lost your memories, Abhimanyu, not me. I was part of your life for a year. Don't forget that."

Abhimanyu looked surprised by her response but nodded. They finished their lunch in silence, each of them lost in their own thoughts.

Afterward, as they walked back to the car, Abhimanyu broke the silence. "Siya, what if our marriage doesn't work out?" he asked, his voice quiet.

Siya's heart raced as she gathered her thoughts. "Abhimanyu, even if we don't want to, Bhai and our fathers will find a way to convince us to go through with this for business reasons. But if it doesn't work after we give it a try, we'll walk away from this marriage," she said, her voice steady but full of determination.
