Rengoku Brothers✩。:*•.───── ❁ ❁ ─────.•*:。✩
My schedule has gotten quite busy. Today, I'm to meet with Lord Rengoku, tomorrow with Lord Iguro, and the day after with Lord Shinazugawa. The only one out of the bunch who I'm excited to see is Lord Rengoku because I heard that he's very kind and welcoming. I also heard that he's bringing along his younger brother, a boy named Senjuro.
I haven't been to the village since I encountered those two from Kibutsuji's side, but I have written to the Kamados, though I don't know if they've gotten my letter. Pushing that thought aside for the moment, I looked in the mirror as Mitsuri and Makomo helped me get ready for my meeting with Lord Rengoku.
"You look absolutely stunning, Princess," Makomo complimented.
Mitsuri nodded with a hum, but she didn't seem as enthusiastic. I didn't question her, though.
When they finished up, I stood and walked down the hallway to the garden. I didn't find either of them there, however, leaving me confused. I decided to go see if they were at the entrance of the palace, and sure enough, I saw two people with flame-like hair, one tall and the other short, but the shorter one was obviously younger. The older one noticed me almost immediately, and his already-huge grin somehow widened even more.
"Ah, Princess Ubuyashiki!" He greeted loudly, bowing in a manner that was almost aggressive. He seems very... boisterous. "It's a pleasure to meet you! I am Lord Rengoku, though I'm sure you already know that! This is my younger brother, Senjuro! I hope you don't mind me bringing him along!"
"No, no, it's no problem at all...!" I said with a smile, turning my attention to Senjuro, "Actually, there are three girls here who I'm sure you'd get along with. They're a bit younger than you. Sumi, Kiyo, and Naho are their names. They shouldn't be too hard to find, but if you do get lost, you can ask a servant, and they'll return you to the entrance."
He nodded, seeming much more nervous than his older brother, and quickly left.
"You remind me a lot of my mother!" Lord Rengoku said suddenly, catching me off guard.
"Really? Um... Is that a good thing?"
"Oh, yes, yes! I remember my mother being a very kind and loving woman! You carry yourself a lot like her!"
He said 'remember.' Does that mean that his mother is dead? I won't pry. Instead, I smiled and thanked him.
"Shall we take a walk in the garden?" I asked, trying to change the subject.
"Of course!"
We walked alongside each other, and I found that it was quite easy to talk to him.

As Senjuro walked down the hallway, he couldn't help but get the unnerving feeling that he was being watched. Not by just one person, though. By multiple people.
As if on cue, a small girl with blue hair clips walked in front of him. She looked innocent, but she wasn't smiling. It was kinda unnerving.
"Uhm... Hi...?" He said, glancing away.
When he did, he saw that two other girls were behind him, one with pink hair clips and the other with green hair clips. They weren't smiling, either.
"What's going on...?"
"Lady Shinobu doesn't like it when people try to court the Princess," the girl in front said, her voice unusually monotone.
"She hates it," the one with the pink hair clips added.
"Lady Shinobu saved us from the streets! It's only natural that we would do anything to please her," green hair clips followed.
"Lady Shinobu will get what she wants," they said in unison.
There was only one word that Senjuro could think of.
"Nii-chan... Help me..."
