There was only one thought going through my mind. Run. I shot up from my seat and tried to get away, but Tanjiro grasped my ankle, causing me to trip and fall on my face. I felt dizzy, and my forehead ached, indicating that there was going to be a bruise.

"Get her," Tanjiro said, his voice cold.

His younger siblings all pounced on me. I grunted as I struggled against them. I managed to elbow and kick them away, and I stood and ran off.

"Don't let her get away!"

The adrenaline coursing through me allowed me to run faster than ever before. I ran, and I didn't look back. I went into the forest, the various shrubbery scratching my skin, but I couldn't care less. I ran so fast that I didn't notice the person in front of me. I grunted as I ran into them and fell to the ground with them. It was... Inosuke.

I couldn't be bothered to correct him. In fact, I can't trust him either. I can't trust anybody. I tried to get up, but he grabbed my wrist, holding me down.
