I was too in shock to even move away. I stood frozen in place as he walked closer to me. He leaned down and pressed a light kiss on my lips. He stayed there for longer than he needed to before pulling away.

"Just you wait, my love. Our wedding will be a grand event."

With that, he walked off, leaving me with Ume and Gyutaro.

"Cheer up, Princess! It's not too often when Kibutsuji-sama-" Ume started.

"Shut up," I said harshly. narrowing my eyes at her.

She flinched at my tone and shrunk away.

"Sorry..."

My gaze softened, and I sighed.

"Just... Leave me be... I need some time to think things over..."

She nodded and left the room. When she slid the door behind me, I finally had peace and quiet. But... it wasn't as good as I hoped. Because, even though I was alone, it felt as if there were eyes boring into my very being from every angle.

Tanjiro spiraled out of control as he tugged on locks of his hair. It was recently announced that the princess had gone missing. First, she doesn't visit him, and now this?!

Nezuko looked at her mother worriedly. He was getting worse and worse by the day... They had to find her.

Genya crossed his arms as he sat in front of the Tokito twins. Tanjiro was too far gone, and his brother would kill him if he told him about this, so he had to go to the twins.

"So, you're telling us that you think Y/N was taken by Kibutsuji?" Yuichiro started.

"And you want us to help you get her back?" Muichiro finished.

"Exactly," he replied with a nod.

The twins looked between each other and back at Genya.

"What's in it for us?" Yuichiro asked.

"I... We'll share her. All three of us."

"... Deal," they both said in unison.

Shinobu's eye twitched as she clutched onto her pant-leg. First, Sumi, Kiyo, and Naho die, then the Emperor dies, and now, the princess goes missing. What next, aliens will come down to earth?

"We'll get her back," Tamayo said, coming up from behind her.

"Right..." Shinobu murmured, "You're right... We'll get her back, one way or another..."

"Oh, hush!" Mitsuri huffed.
