I got an unexpected visit today. It was from Lord Iguro. With how our first meeting went, I doubted he would want to see me again. I couldn't say I was too excited, but I was curious.
I waited in the garden for a few minutes, waiting for his arrival, and it wasn't too long until I saw those pretty eyes of his. For someone who's so harsh, he's very beautiful.
Something about him felt a bit different from last time, though. Almost as if he was less hostile. That would be nice.
"Kyojuro tells me about you all the time..." He murmured, his voice a bit muffled by the wrappings on his mouth, "I thought I might give you another try... But this doesn't mean that we're comfortable, got that?"
I nodded and smiled. It's a start!

Obanai felt something that he's never felt before. It was like butterflies had found their way into his stomach, and they were fluttering around relentlessly. He hated the feeling, but... he also liked it at the same time? Kaburamaru seemed to catch on, because the snake started hissing more than usual as soon as they left the princess's presence.
"Hey!"
That voice snapped him out of his thoughts. He looked to see where it came from, and he saw a young woman with pink and green hair that was braided. Her brows were furrowed like she was frustrated. He tensed slightly at the sight of her, which suddenly made him realize his gynophobia. But... he wasn't all that nervous around the princess... Not at all, actually.
"Hey! I'm talking to you! Or is your brain so filled with air that you forgot how to speak?" She called out again, her voice raising.
Obanai's eyes narrowed, and his fists clenched. He attempted to walk past her, but she kept jabbing at him.
"Do you honestly think you have a chance with the graciousness that is the princess? I'm surprised she even gives you the time of day! She'll never be yours, so just let go of that silly dream of yours!"
Obanai didn't know why, but that last comment made him angry... Really angry.

I think I like going out to the village more to explore than to see the Kamados. Is it rude that I'm avoiding them? Maybe. But can anyone really blame me?I've been having a lot of fun buying random little trinkets that I don't really need. I was having so much fun, in fact, that I didn't recognize two familiar faces in the crowd.
"Princess!"
I quickly recognized that voice, and it almost gave me a headache. I laughed nervously and turned to look at the Tokito twins as they walked over to me.
"Hi, you two!" I greeted.
"Where have you been? Tanjiro is getting really worried," Yuichiro said.
"Yeah, really, really worried!" Muichiro added.
"Oh... Um... Just tell him I haven't had much time to hang out with him! Being a princess and all, I have a pretty busy schedule!"
They both looked at me, and I could tell that they didn't believe me one bit, but they both nodded anyway and walked off. I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose.
"Let's go home..." I huffed, walking back to the palace earlier than I usually did.

"She has plenty of time on her hands," Yuichiro said, "She just doesn't want to see us. But why?"
The twins immediately went to the Kamado residence after their run-in with the princess, and when they told them what happened, Tanjiro started muttering under his breath. Kie smiled sweetly and put a gentle hand on his shoulder.
"Don't worry, my dear," she cooed, "She'll come back eventually. She just needs a little... encouragement."

✿Sengoku-Era Secrets✿
❥ Obanai sorta forgot about his gynophobia while he was with
Y/N.
❥ These characters are very ooc, if you couldn't tell 🤯😭❥ Someone (pan_and_proud03) suggested that I throw a ball or smth for Y/N where a lot of the characters meet, and I thought it was really good, so I might include it a little later in the book.
