So far, 'dating' Niki hasn't been so awful... apart from the fact that he's still really annoying and plays pranks on other people too often, since it's part of the contact for him not to prank me instead.

We've also gotten more comfortable holding hands whilst walking through the castle. I've almost gotten used to the stares and whispers that are a result of it, so it doesn't bother me too much anymore.

I think the day when he held my hand under the duvet whilst we were watching the horror film broke the ice for us.

I still get nervous around him though, and it's such a strange feeling. It's weird transitioning from pure hatred for the boy, to this weird feeling I get when I'm around him... a feeling which I know is definitely not repulsion.

As I'm on my way for lunch, a small boy, probably first year, bumps into me. I gasp in shock and sympathy as he rubs his forehead.

"Oh I'm so sorry!"

"It's okay." He mumbles, and as he looks up at my face, his eyes suddenly widen and so do mine as I recognise him from the first day we got back to school.

"You're my brother's girlfriend!" He exclaims, gaining looks from people around us.

I remember seeing Niki's little brother during the sorting ceremony, where the whole of the Slytherin table along with Niki cheered like crazy.

"Uh... yes I am. Nice to meet you. Sorry what's your name?"

"Aki Nishimura. Lovely to meet you Nari." He smiles and I'm shocked that he knows my name. "I recognised you from an Instagram post that got sent around. All my friends were showing me it, it was so embarrassing." He explains with a sigh.

"Instagram post?" I ask in confusion.

"Yeah! Take a look at this." He pulls out his phone and I'm surprised to see that Niki let his eleven year old brother have a mobile at this age.

I take a look at his screen and my jaw drops to find the photograph of myself and Niki from the other day, when we were leaving Jake's dorm during the film, posted on Jake's story.

I swear to god Jake is not going to see the light of day.

Aki hasn't left me be for the whole lunch, but I don't mind at all. He's much sweeter than his older brother and funny too. I figured it would be unusual if I didn't have a good bond with my own boyfriend's brother, so spending some time with him shouldn't do any harm.

As we're walking, carrying our food outside to the courtyard to sit on the grass, Aki links his arm with mine and I laugh at his sweetness. However, a certain boy's confused look from across the courtyard catches my attention.

Niki storms towards us, glancing back and forth between his younger brother and myself, clearly noticing that our arms are linked.

"Aki what are you doing?" He asks.

"Just getting to know my sister in law, why?" He replies and my jaw drops, whilst Niki scoffs.

"Your brother is so cute by the way." I smile and Niki pinches the bridge of his nose.

"He gets it from me. What's he said about me anyway? Nothing bad I hope." Niki glares at his younger brother.

"Oh I was just about to tell her your life story whilst eating lunch. Care to join us?" Aki smirks and I laugh in surprise at his cheekiness towards his brother.

Niki unlinks our arms, and takes my hand, pulling me towards him.

"Of course." He replies. "Now that I have my girlfriend back."
