After the evening filled with excitement, Tunde finally arrived home. His phone buzzed almost immediately, and a smile spread across his face as he saw Ada's name on the screen.

"Hey, Love," he answered, his voice warm and soothing.

"Tunde, I shouldn't have let you go back," Ada began, her voice soft and filled with longing. "I should have let you stay at my place."

Tunde chuckled softly. "I had a wonderful time, Ada. But we'll have more moments together, I promise."

"I know," she sighed. "But tonight felt special."

"It was special," Tunde agreed. "Every moment with you is special. You make everything better, Ada."

Ada's heart fluttered at his words. "You always know the right thing to say, Tunde."

They continued talking late into the night, their conversation flowing effortlessly. They shared their dreams, crack jokes, play games, feeling a deeper connection with every word.

The next day at Paystack HQ, Adaora noticed the CEO was present and was determined to speak with him. She thought it was her fault Chidi fainted the other day and felt it was crucial to have a word with him. However, when she approached his office, his personal assistant, Jack blocked her way.

"I need to speak with Mr. Okoye," Adaora insisted.

"I'm sorry, but the CEO is very busy," he replied curtly.

Adaora's determination didn't wane. She went back to her desk but waited patiently, hoping for a chance to catch him. As the day wore on and Chidi Okoye was leaving the company, Adaora saw her opportunity. She ran to reach him, but Mrs. Abosede tried to stop her.

"Chidi!" Adaora called out from afar, leaving everyone shocked at her audacity to call the CEO by his first name.

Chidi turned around, surprised but not displeased. "Yes, Adaora?"

Adaora immediately run to join him outside the company.

"How's your health now?" Ada asked, her voice filled with concern. "It's my fault, I'm sorry."

"No, it's fine. It's not your fault," Chidi replied, trying to reassure her.

"You're just trying not to make me worry. I know it's my fault," Ada said, her eyes pleading.

Chidi sighed, understanding her concern. "Okay, then you owe me a coffee date."

Ada's eyes widened in surprise. "When?"

"I'll text you," Chidi replied as he got into his car. The door was opened for him by his driver, and he drove off, leaving Ada standing there, a mix of relief and anticipation on her face.

As she walked back to her desk, she could feel the eyes of her colleagues on her. They were whispering, gossiping about her interaction with the CEO. Mrs. Abosede looked furious, but Paul stepped in to calm her down.

When Ada finally got home, she called Tunde immediately.

"Hey, I just got home," she said, her voice filled with happiness.

"How was your day?" Tunde asked.

"It was... interesting. I didn't do anything much today"

"Really? That's good to hear?" Tunde said happily.

"I guess so. And congratulations on your company's progress. I heard you've made 900k in sales for your gas measurement device and are planning to venture into fintech," Ada congratulated him.

Tunde smiled. "Thank you, Ada. Yes, things are moving fast. In two weeks, we should have expanded, and I'll be back steady on the island."

They continued talking, sharing more details about their day and their plans.

"Have you eaten?" Tunde asked suddenly.

"Not yet. I don't know what to eat," Ada admitted.

Tunde began suggesting a variety of dishes. "How about coconut rice with fried plantains? Or maybe Chinese spaghetti with roasted snail? Or even egusi soup with pounded yam?"

Ada laughed. "Just tell me the truth, did you learn catering or something? Because I don't know how to cook half of the dishes you're talking about!"

Tunde chuckled. "I just love good food. And I'll teach you how to cook them someday"

Their conversation went on, filled with laughter and sweet exchanges. Eventually, they said their goodnights, and Ada sighed contentedly as she hung up.

As Ada sat down to plan her finances, her phone rang again. It was Precious, her friend.

"Hello, Precious," Ada greeted.

"Hello, Ada. How you dey?" Precious's voice sounded worried and scared.

"Precious, wetin happen? Why you sound like this?" Ada asked, concern evident in her tone.

"It's a long story, Ada. Abeg, fit borrow me 30k? I go return am soon," Precious pleaded.

Ada hesitated, but she remembered how Precious had accommodated her when she first came to Lagos. "No wahala, I go send you the money."

"Thank you, Ada. God go bless you," Precious said, relief evident in her voice.

As soon as Ada ended the call, Precious's account details popped up on her phone. Ada sent her the 30k, hoping it would help her friend and serve as a form of savings until Precious could repay her.

Ada sat back, thinking about her day. It had been filled with joy and love from Tunde, but one thing was clear – her life was changing, and she was ready to embrace whatever came next.
