The night was suffused with tension as Tunde lay perfectly still atop Adeola, struggling to rein in his instincts. She had already wrapped her hands around his neck, drawing him closer. Tunde's body was rigid, caught in a battle between desire and restraint. He managed to hold back until, to his surprise, Adeola made the first move-her fingers tugging at his shirt collar, pulling him toward her.

Her lips found his, and the kiss that followed was intense, full of pent-up longing. Adeola kissed him passionately, leaving Tunde frozen in disbelief. For a moment, he tried to resist, but Adeola was relentless, her hands still clutching him. Her lips moved in sync with his, overwhelming him with the depth of her desire. It was only after several moments that Tunde finally broke free, stumbling back, his chest rising and falling with heavy breaths.

"What the...!" he spat out, shaking his head in disbelief, still reeling from the intensity of what had just happened. Without another word, he left the room, heading for the living room, leaving Adeola alone. Her heart was pounding, but rather than regret, a dreamy smile spread across her face. To her, it was a dream come true, the kiss she had long fantasized about. As she drifted to sleep, she couldn't stop replaying the moment over and over again in her mind.

Morning Came with a New Rhythm

Tunde didn't sleep much after the night's events. Restless and frustrated, he rose early and headed to the kitchen. Determined to distract himself, he put on Justin Bieber's "Peaches," letting the rhythm fill the house as he prepared breakfast. He decided on a rich, homemade meat pie and tea. As the music played, Tunde threw himself into the work of mixing flour with baking powder, sugar, margarine butter, eggs, and milk. He kneaded the dough, rolled it out, and prepared the filling-a mix of tuna, fried eggs, potatoes, and seasoned beef.

He tied an apron around his waist and let himself get lost in the process, dancing along to the beat as he switched between preparing the pie and preheating the oven. Every move felt like a step away from the past, from Adaora, and he was determined to let her go. This was a new day, and he was going to enjoy it.

The aroma of the baking meat pie soon filled the air, drifting through the house. It wasn't long before Mide, groggy but driven by hunger, appeared in the doorway.

"Guy! This thing never ready?" Mide's voice was thick with anticipation as he rubbed his eyes.

Tunde, still caught up in the music, shot him a playful glare. "Morning, bro. Go sit in the living room, and don't disturb me here."

Mide, eager for food, reluctantly obeyed, dragging himself back to the living room, his stomach rumbling in anticipation.

Meanwhile, Adeola slowly woke up, her body cocooned in Tunde's soft bedsheets. The lingering scent of him enveloped her, making her feel alive in a way she hadn't felt in ages. As she stretched, the events of the previous night rushed back to her, and her eyes widened in realization.

"I kissed him," she whispered to herself, barely believing her own audacity. A mixture of excitement and embarrassment filled her chest. How would she face him now, knowing she'd made such a bold move?

Still dressed in the sexy grey dress from the night before, she slipped out of bed and descended the stairs, her mind racing with questions and her heart pounding at the thought of seeing Tunde again. As she walked into the living room, Mide could hardly contain his discomfort, his eyes darting away from her alluring figure.

"M-morning," Mide stammered, trying and failing to act normal.

Adeola gave him a polite smile, though her mind was elsewhere. "Do you know where Tunde is?"

Before Mide could answer, the delicious aroma of freshly baked meat pie hit her senses, and Adeola's attention shifted. She followed the smell straight to the kitchen, where she found Tunde in an apron, dancing as he tended to the oven.

A laugh escaped her, and without a second thought, she pulled out her phone, snapping a picture and taking a quick video of him.

"Mood when you're a two-time CEO," she captioned the post and uploaded it to her timeline. The internet moved fast, and within seconds, the post was trending. Tunde Adeyemi, the newly appointed CEO of Spark Technologies, was now the second most influential entrepreneur of 2024.

Eventually, the meat pie was ready. Tunde called everyone to the table and proudly served his creation.

"Rate me," he said, confident in his skills.

Adeola took a bite, her face lighting up. "1000 out of 100," she declared with a grin.

Mide, also digging in, nodded appreciatively. "100%, bro. You killed it."

They ate in companionable silence until Mide suddenly burst into laughter, waving his phone in the air.

"Wetin happen?" Tunde asked, suspicious.

"Guy, you're trending!" Mide showed him the post.

Tunde's eyes went wide. "What? Who posted this?" His eyes narrowed as he turned to Adeola.

"You again," he muttered, recalling how she'd been causing a stir since yesterday.

Adeola gave him a cheeky smile, knowing full well she was the culprit. "Relax, people love seeing the real you."

Adaora woke up beside her new boyfriend, Chidi, and instinctively reached for her phone. As soon as the screen lit up, there it was-her ex, Tunde, trending. He was dancing in the kitchen, carefree and apparently having the time of his life. The caption on YabaLeft read: "Mood when you're a multimillionaire CEO."

Deep down, it frustrated her to see how quickly Tunde seemed to have moved on.

Chidi, noticing her focus on the screen, asked, "What's wrong?"

Adaora sighed, feeling a mix of jealousy and sadness, though she tried to mask it. "Nothing. It's just Tunde... he's trending again."

Chidi's expression darkened slightly, but he was determined. He knew she hadn't fully gotten over Tunde yet, but he was set on making her forget.
