We were regrouped in the same property that Cameron had set up way earlier.

Cameron wasn't too trusting of Spectre so he made Doc work on a cure using his own resources.

Can't blame the guy both spectre and ember are operating maliciously

He kept true to his word and got Doc a proper lab with adequate resources.

From the looks of it, his ability is different than John's. Despite that, this doc individual was able to use the information and properties of Cameron's ability to reverse engineer the ability suppressant.

He developed a cure
One entirely different from the machines used by Spectre.

Somehow that brilliant chemist was actually a school nurse before.

Talk about overqualified

Seraphina looking at me said "So apparently this vial is the finished product"

Flashback Seraphina

Cameron responded "It should work in theory anyway, the chemist told me that even if you manage to regain full power or even a portion of it you should refrain from using it to let your body adjust"

Seraphina responded "I'm happy you were able to help but I struggle to see how me regaining my power will help in finding John"

She took it and used it on herself "at least I won't be dead weight with this"

Cameron responded "Even if all this leads to a dead end getting such a talented chemist under my employment makes this entire disaster worth it to me"

Seraphina pov flashback

Right, he was sure to take a precaution in order to ensure that Spectre would be in the dark about him or his existence

As a result, he unofficially hired Darren for himself so he's no longer in spectre. He and my sister still seem to be in contact and working together.

Given the nature of orin's ability, Leilah is in the dark about the cure production despite that...

Cameron holding a vial himself said "With this their power over their assets should be broken without an issue"

He was pragmatic about the situation.

My head started to hurt and William caught me
"Hey, are you okay?" He carried me to the nearest sofa where he left me to rest.

William's pov

After leaving I was alone with Cameron.

He spoke, "So this boy what kind of person is he?"

Thinking for a bit I responded "he's well...someone very troubled"

"Especially back then but at his core he's always wanted to be good even if he himself doesn't give in to that"

I grabbed my head
"What was I thinking letting him be so far from me?" I said feeling guilty

Cameron responded "he's an adult far stronger than you could ever hope to be what could you have done? That mentality is pointless don't ponder it"

Cameron's demeanor was unphazed as he continued "Don't worry once that girl gets her power back I have an idea that might give us a sliver of a chance to find out what happened to John"

I responded "Thank you for going through all this. I never wanted to accept that John is gone but.."

"It's something I might have to accept as painful as it is to lose those two."
