Act Four: Chapter V: After Party

He's mentally unstable and there's no hope in saving him. . . . . Now he's no longer about saving the innocent, Now he's about punishing the guilty.

Natasha couldn't get those words out of her mind. She saw the manor as she continued walking towards it while thinking about the conversation she had with Waller. She felt bad for Alex and everything he has gone through. Despite Waller warning her about Alex's current state, Romanoff is determined to help him.

She opened the doors of the manor and noticed Alex was at the living room as he was looking at his phone until he noticed Natasha and said something.

Alex: Hey Nat.

Natasha: [Smiles] Hey Alex.

Alex: So how did it all go?

Natasha: It went well. The files were just Strucker trying to add more modifications into the Chitauri weapons.

Alex: Oh I see.

Natasha nodded and stared at Alex as she continued thinking about the conversation she had with Waller. However Amborse noticed she was thinking about something as he said something to her.

Alex: Everything okay, Nat?

Natasha: Yeah. Everything is okay.

Alex was staring at her as he nodded before he said something to her as she was listening to him.

Alex: Nat, if anything is bothering you. You can talk to me about it.

Natasha smiled at Alex and nodded as Alex couldn't help but have a small smile on his face until Ambrose said something to her.

Alex: You know Nat, I've been thinking about it for sometime and I thought, I'll join all of you at the farewell party.

Natasha: [Smiles] That's great, Alex. See you at the party and Oh make sure to put on your best suit.

Alex: [Chuckles] You know, I don't like wearing suits.

Natasha: [Chuckles] I know I'm just messing with you.

Both of them let out another chuckle until Alex said something to her.

Alex: Also Nat, Are you free for the whole day?

Natasha: Yes I am. Why?

Alex: Oh I was wondering if you like to go out with me?

Natasha: [Smiles] Sure Alex.

Alex: Oh, nice. You like ice skating?

Natasha: [Chuckles] Yeah I do.

Alex: Oh okay then. I know a place where we can ice skate.

Natasha: [Smiles] After we're dome skating, where do we go next?

Alex: Oh I was thinking, we can go to the amusement park after this

Natasha: [Smiles] Sure, Alex.

Alex nodded and gave a small smile to her as both of them began walking out of the manor, however Natasha was holding his arm as Alex felt his heart beating fast and Natasha smiled at him as they continued walking while Alex was staring at her.

Alex had a smile on his face as he felt his heart beating even faster. Whenever he's around her, he felt happy, peaceful and wants to be with her. He was slowly falling in love with her and wanted to be there for her.

However there were many nightmares and demons that were holding him back and Alex's smile instantly faded away as he thought about everything that has happened over the years and gritted his teeth.
