The repetitive banging on Samira's door made her shoot out of bed, rubbing her eyes as she tumbled out from beneath her silky sheets. Her feet dragged on the hardwood floors as she made her way to the front door, letting out a yawn as she looked through the peephole. She held one eye shut as she did so, seeing her best friend, Dominque, on the other side of it—arms crossed over her chest in disappointment, and chewing the gum in her mouth obnoxiously.

Samira huffed, throwing her head back, before opening the door and standing off to the side to allow Nique inside. Her best friend eyed her up and down, shaking her head in disbelief of all the media circulating the web that morning. Nique basically ignored Samira's presence, making her way to the kitchen and pouring herself a bowl of Sadiah's cereal. Mira looked around in confusion, "So, you gon' tell me why you here at the ass crack of dawn on a Sunday?"

Nique threw a spoon into her bowl of Trix cereal, "I should be here to take yo' ass to church," She replied, making Samira all the more confused. Nique read her expression, taking a spoonful of cereal in her mouth, "You been on yo' phone lately?"

"To be honest," Samira began to explain, scratching the back of her neck. "I haven't even seen my phone since last night." She said, causing Nique to smirk. "Yeah, bitch. I wonder why?"

Samira was still confused as hell, so she made her way back to her room. Finding her denim jumpsuit from the night before on the ground, and began digging through the pockets to find her cellphone. Shockingly, it was in the back pocket—but it was only on 22%. Samira found her best friend on her long couch in the living room, joining her as she plopped down beside her, tucking her feet beneath her.
