Samira adjusted her position in the backseat of the car, dimly lit by the purple lighting that set the mood for her debut album's cover shoot. Love Don't Live Here Anymore by Faith Evans, played through the speakers as she posed for the flashing camera. She felt a mix of excitement and nerves, but the encouragement from, Jodie, her photographer, helped her focus.

"That's it, Samira. Look right here, perfect," Jodie said, snapping continuous pictures. Samira placed her arms on her knees, looking into the camera with determination. "You're a natural, girl." Samira wore a white tank top, and retro Nike sweatpants with a pair of Air Force ones. Her hair was straightened and framed her face perfectly. As the pictures snapped she made sure to change her facial expressions, knowing exactly how she wanted her album cover to look.

Sadiah was supposed to be playing quietly in the corner with his toys. However, he was starting to get restless. Samira noticed him fidgeting and beginning to wander away from his designated spot. "Sadi, baby, stay right there with your toys, okay?" she called out, trying to keep her focus on the shoot. But Sadiah, ever the spirited child, began to misbehave, throwing his toy car against the wall. The loud clatter made Samira sigh deeply. "Gimme one sec, Jodie," she said, stepping out of the car set. She walked over to her son, kneeling down to his level. "Sadiah, you gotta chill, alright? Mommy needs to finish this real quick. Can you do that for me?"

Sadiah pouted but nodded, retreating back to his corner with his toys. Samira returned to the set, relieved when Sadiah resumed his play quietly. "You're doing great, Samira. Almost done," Jodie assured her as he continued taking pictures. "Just a few more shots."

Minutes later, Jodie lowered his camera, a satisfied smile on her face. "Think we got what you wanted." She turned the camera to let Samira have a sneak peak, her hand covering her mouth when she saw how great they were. "Thanks, Jodie," Samira replied, smiling as she started to gather her things. "Sadiah, come here, bubba."
