The past month and a half had been smooth sailing for Samira. Life had found its rhythm, a harmony she hadn't expected but was grateful for. Sadiah was thriving in school, having adjusted so well that his teachers marveled at how quickly he adapted to early mornings. He had mastered tying his shoes all on his own—a little victory that brought a sense of pride to both of them.
