I zipped up my low-waisted mini-skirt, checking my outfit in the mirror. The only issue with this house is that the air conditioning only goes for five minutes at a time, and it's not normal to constantly use cool air.

I guess five minutes of air conditioning is supposed to last you another twenty...

My top had thin straps that held up the shimmery fabric against my chest. I haven't worn something like this in a long time, but it was good for me to show some skin. I think it made me more confident in myself. I struggled with body image like every other teenage girl, but that doesn't mean I didn't believe I was blessed.

Luckily, I played a sport in high school that kept me active and in-shape.

Every movement I made had the top moving against my skin, the shimmer reflecting off the light above me. I almost ripped out my navel piercing trying to get this shirt on, though.

Eros had gotten out of the shower earlier, and he let me know that we were going to meet some guy at a club called Ruby's. I was a little confused on why I was coming with, but I guess it wasn't a smart idea to leave me by myself.

Bea is apparently only staying during the day to give us privacy at night.

"Angel," Eros poked his head into the master bedroom, getting my attention.

I hummed, fixing my hair in the mirror as he stepped inside.

I could tell he was holding back from touching me in ways that we had just discussed were moving too fast, but I just smiled at him anyway.

"I'm ready," I told him, my hand reaching his face as I stood on the tips of my toes to kiss his cheek.

"You aren't in pain, right?" I asked, reminding myself to help him change the bandage later tonight.

He shook his head, "I took the medication."

I nodded in understanding, grabbing my phone off the bed. I closed the window I had opened, deciding it would be safer to leave it shut. It got dark here early, I assumed it was because the time zones were so different.

The bedroom was beautiful as well, and I was glad it was on the other side of the house from where Reign and Quinton were staying.

"Who are you meeting tonight?" I asked, already forgetting what I was told earlier.

"Shaum. He deals with our shipments here," Eros answered, his hand coming to rest on my waist as we walked toward the main room.

I took Bea's advice about wearing going-out outfits to these types of "clubs". They weren't the type of clubs we had back in the United States, but more like lounges that people used to cover up their illegal activities. There was still music and what not, but the main goal of these places was to appear innocent.

She had told me that it would keep me out of trouble if I showed up like the girls who regularly visit these places, and I didn't know if taking her advice was the right choice now that I thought about it.
