I stirred the tomato soup soothingly, finding peace within this kitchen. My stomach grumbled as I continued crafting this dinner for whoever was here in Eros's house to eat it. I had woken up just a bit ago, and I wasn't sure if I had missed Eros return or not.

But I can hear him and his friends around...wherever they are. I spent some time with the dogs in the garden before finding these fresh tomatoes, and that gave me the inspiration to make this soup. Of course, with my mother's family recipe's help.

I was also grilling some grilled cheeses, figuring that it was a fitting accompaniment for tomato soup.

But as I continued stirring and cutting up the rest of the vegetables with my hands, I noticed something glinting in the light. At first, I thought I had snagged something around one of my fingers, but when I held my hand closer to my glasses-lacking eyes, I spotted the most beautiful yet simple ring ever. A small diamond glittered in the center, and I almost gasped when I realized it was on my ring finger.

This was definitely not there before I went to sleep...

I froze, wondering if Eros had visited me while I was sleeping. I've never seen this ring before, so I wouldn't have accidentally put it on before getting into bed or anything. I also wear rings pretty often, and I think I would know if I wore one this intricate.

Especially one that looks so...engaging.

Huh.

How ironic.

I decided to search for the guys after plating the rest of the food, separating the soup into five different bowls.

There was still some leftover, too.

I peeked my head into the first office, and they weren't there. Then I decided to continue down the hall into the study—the room with many books and types of bourbon that nobody actually uses. However, the sounds of talking only got louder, and I was surprised when I opened the door.

Eros, Reign, Jaden, and Quinton sat in the chairs that were centered by a small table. They looked up at the sudden intrusion, and for once, they didn't seem annoyed by my presence.

"There's food if you all are hungry," I informed, quickly leaving them be in privacy. I didn't expect any of them to actually want to come and sit at the table, so I headed back to the kitchen and just ate in the dining room by myself.

However, I soon heard footsteps behind me, and not just one pair.

I glanced over my shoulder, watching all of them pick up a bowl and a plate. Then, they started sitting around the dining table with me, almost as if they were happy to be having a meal with each other.

Eros sat down beside me, his lips pressing against my temple as he did.

I attempted to smile at him, but my mouth was busy with a bite of grilled cheese.
