Peter wished he could say it was the last time he found an enormous stack of paperwork dedicated to him. Of course they had to find a replacement for Margret meaning she still had some power. Only to make things worse was Bok Su didn't always get to them first. Meaning he was basically doing all of it. If Bryce didn't find out first. Of course he would take the heavy loud. Switching over the two heads so it was Seria handling the organization and bringing off the paperwork. Even with that Bryce noticed how stressed Peter was. Circles had started to form under his eyes, and he seemed more tired. Bryce felt he was to blame. Most of their time he had been dragging Peter out for fun stuff, and while it was relaxing.
Peter was also really tired by the end of it. Bryce sighed as he looked at the pen he was holding. Bite marks covered the ends. He looked up at the blue haired male who had passed out next to him on the couch. His head leaned against Bryce's shoulder. Peter had passed out while doing work. Bryce couldn't blame him. He was up half the night. Bryce was used to late night, but Peter clearly wasn't. While both had work to be doing Bryce felt it was better for them to move. Now in the parlor Bryce had a list in front of him. Ideas he wrote down while looking at the pen Peter had chewed up. Perhaps they would have to start keeping chewy things in his study so Peter could chew on those and not his pens. The door opened a creak causing Bryce to snap his head in the direction to see a surprise.
"Hey!" Angelica said a little too loud before Bryce pressed a finger to his lips. Before nodding his head over in the direction of Peter. Angelica looked confused and walked in as Bryce looked back down at the guy he stirred a bit causing his head to lean in closer to his chest. Bryce gave a small smile as his face became a little warm. A small gasp caused him to turn attention to her. "Oh I didn't realize he was asleep." "It's alright." Bryce replied. "I'll get going." She said, "You don't have to. Besides as much as I wouldn't mind being here all day I don't want any sleep schedule being messed up." Bryce explained as Angelica sat in a chair close to them so they could have a quiet conversation. "How late was he up?" Angelica asked. "He kept having nightmares." Bryce said as Angelica nodded before Bryce got an idea. "Hey while you're here do you think you can help me with something?" Angelica nodded slightly confused. "I want to take Peter on a date, but I don't have many ideas on what he likes." Bryce said as he handed the list over to Angelica. "What exactly are you looking for?" She asked as her eyes scanned over the paper. "Something relaxing where it could be just the two of us, and not a lot of people." Angelica let out a small hum.
"I see why most of these are out of the kingdom." Angelica said. "You can knock swimming off of the list. Peter doesn't like to be stripped in front of people. Even if it was just you two. He's come over to our house and helped pick vegetables, he wouldn't take his shirt off no matter how hot it got out there. "I'm sure now it was because of his soulmate mark but even then he doesn't strike me as the type who would be comfortable to strip." Bryce nodded so swimming wasn't an option. "I think maybe a hike would be nice as long as the terrain isn't hard to walk." Then her eyes lit up. "Ohhh a picnic! He would love that." Angelica said as while pointing to it aggressively. Bryce gave a smile. "Alright." He said as he folded the paper and placed it in his pocket as he did he heard a shaky inhale next to him. Looking over he saw Peter was sweating a bit. His eyebrows were Bryce grabbed his hand from under the blanket he was snuggled in. Bryce continued to look at him. He could feel his hand begging squeezed. "Hey it's okay." Bryce whispered as he leaned closer to Peter. He had done this the previous night and managed to calm him down. Though this time it didn't work. Bryce didn't want him to suffer any more. Waking him up was his best option. Bryce gently grabbed his shoulder and shook it. "Peter, wake up." Bryce whispered. "Is he okay?" Bryce shrugged as Peter's eyes shot open. "Hey." Bryce said as Peter looked up at him and relaxed.
"Hey." Peter replied as he looked up at him. "Doing okay?" Peter nodded as he used his free hand to rub a hand through his hair. "Another one?" Peter nodded. "Yeah." He said as he looked over before quickly noticing Angelica. "Angelica!" Peter exclaimed with a smile as Angelica gave a bright smile and waved. "Well good morning to you." Angelica replied as she stood up and the two hugged. "Why didn't you wake me when she got here?" Peter asked as he looked at Bryce. "You were so peaceful sleeping I didn't want to wake you." Bryce said as Peter blushed a bit. Though Angelica looked down at his clothes. "You're still wearing peasants clothes?" She asked beckoning to his shirt and pants. "I'll get a new wardrobe eventually." "When he is actually willing to see my tailor."
"Shut." Peter pointed a finger at Bryce who just rolled his eyes. "It's not wrong." He muttered as Peter let out a low growl. "Anyways, how are you doing?" Angelica asked. "Good, minus a bunch of paperwork. One of the two head staff absolutely hates me." Peter said as he sat back down and leaned against Bryce. "Oh that's not fun." Angelica said as Peter shook his head. "We're looking for her replacement as of now." Peter explained as Angelica gave him a smile. "That's good." "How have you been?" Peter asked. "Things have been a bit busier without you. Forcas wanted to come but he was held up with chores. He does say hi." Peter giggled as Bryce couldn't help but smile as conversation flowed from the three of them. Out of all of the days it was truly a happier day, and Bryce was about to make another day, a really happy one as well.
