Hi readers!
Now I know you've been waiting for me to remake my artwork. I promise I am working on them. I will be having my holiday from work too soon so I will be able to put more time into it too.
But for now, if you saw my announcement when I finally came back to Wattpad, I mentioned having some stories I have been dying to write. Those stories are ready and I will be uploading them one by one every couple of days while I work on the artwork. And this is the first one!
So, without further ado, please enjoy!

The sun hung low in the sky, casting a warm glow over a pretty little seaside town. On the quiet beach, stood a lone woman facing the ocean and gazing into the distance. There used to be a time when Davina was happy, truly happy, with the love of her life, a sweet and funny young man named Ivan. But the day when she received the offer to work overseas continued to haunt her till this day, as that same day was when she decided to end things with Ivan, not wanting him to be burdened by a long-distance relationship. It was a difficult decision to make, but she felt she had to let him go, believing it was for the best.
Meanwhile, Ivan had been grappling with the sudden void in his life. The unanswered questions haunted him as he tried to move on, but the memories of their time together lingered like shadows. He missed her laugh, her smile, her kind heart. He had come to this seaside town on holiday, hoping to escape the weight of their past, escape the nostalgic pain.
But, fate had other plans.
As Davina turned to leave the beach, she nearly collided with Ivan. His eyes widened in disbelief, and for a moment, the world around them faded away.
"Ivan," she breathed, her heart racing.
"Davina," he replied, his voice a mix of surprise as sadness graced his face. "Why did you leave? You just... disappeared."The question hung in the air, heavy and charged. She had rehearsed this moment a thousand times in her mind, but now, the words felt stuck in her throat.
"I had to take the job," she finally said, her voice trembling. "I didn't think we could handle the distance."
"Distance?" Ivan's brow furrowed. "You didn't even give us a chance. You just... you just walked away."
"I...I thought it was for the best," she whispered, tears brimming in her eyes. "I didn't want to hold you back."
"And yet here I am, still in love with you," he confessed, his voice breaking. "I never stopped."The admission hung between them like a fragile thread, weaving their hearts together once more. Davina's breath hitched as she processed his words. She felt the same, but fear gripped her.
"I still love you too, Ivan," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "But what do we do now? I don't know what would be the right thing to do."
He stepped closer, the warmth of his presence enveloping her. "We take it one day at a time, figure it out together."For the first time since their separation, a flicker of hope ignited within her. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden hue over the ocean, Ivan took Davina's hand and guided her back to the beachfront, back to navigate their hearts' desires together.
