A 2-in-1 story. This one with the good future, the next chapter with the... 'apocalyptic' future. Yes, this was also an English task from high school lol. At the time, we had to write about utopia or dystopia, and I wrote about an apocalyptic world. So, this was quite fun to try.

A rainbow here, a bloom there, lush greenery everywhere. A cool gentle breeze dances through my golden locks as I skip along the street towards the park. It was as if nothing could possibly disturb the peaceful atmosphere of our city.
For each city, there were around 1000 houses, allowing more space for greenery. Everyone knows everyone. Everyone is friends with everyone. All around, you'll see different people together regardless of gender, faith, race, etc. There are even people with a range of hair and eye colours, from the brightest red to the darkest violet. I guess one could say we evolved to become even more unique to one another. Pride, crime and hate were not even heard of and we intend to keep it this way.
Pollution is no more. Everything here works on electricity, including the cars. The electricity itself is made sustainably via solar, wind and hydropower being the main 3 sources of energy. Most cities had given up by now on finding coal when miners realised they were no longer able to find any. Besides, the planet seemed to be healing well without it.
Children could be seen running around the park, their laughter filling the air like a sweet melody, their eyes shimmering with delight. A few couples dotted around here and there were having a picnic, the mouth-watering scent of sweet buns filled the air around. Birds were singing within the trees while some were soaring in the bright blue sky as free as the waves of the sea.
Yep, nothing could ruin the perfection and beauty of this world.
