"How do expect me to forgive the person who hurt me most? Yet, you ask why I'm the one who's like stone." ~Rose4eva789

I never thought I would be a victim of fake love. Luka's ex had once meant everything to him. They had dated for 3 years before he found she had cheated on him with his cousin, Paul. He had never felt more betrayed, by both his 'lover' and his cousin.
Paul tried his best to make him feel better. He admitted he had no idea about her being in a relationship with him at the same time. However, though Luka found himself forgiving his cousin, he never felt he couldn't trust him again.
It's been a couple of years since that incident and Luka's and Paul's friendship got better. They decided to catch up at an old favourite restaurant of theirs with a few old friends. They were having a great time before someone disrupted their mood.
A blonde girl came into the same restaurant with her own friends and noticed Luka at his table with Paul. She told her friends she'd be back in a moment and then waltzed over to the guys, speaking quite loudly, "Luka! I haven't seen you in forever!"
"Unless it's important I suggest you leave Kate," Luka replied, completely uninterested in seeing his ex.
"Now that's not a nice thing to say to your girlfriend, Luka," she said.
"Mine or Paul's?" Luka asked, annoyed, "because as far as I remember you had great fun messing with both of us,"
A few gasps were heard from around them. Both glared at each other before Kate chuckled and turned before saying, "What crap story are you pulling now, Luka? You keep that going and no one will care about you. You'll be the one running back to me."
Someone else had spoken up in the restaurant: a brunette with violet eyes who had been sitting with her own friend before she stood from getting annoyed by the loud girl. "Aren't you the one who just came back to him just now?" She said.
Paul whispered in Luka's ear "Isn't that the cute antisocial girl you were telling me about?"
"Shut up," was Luka's reply, along with a little tint of red on his cheeks."Who do you think you are?" Kate demanded, "You're just a simple fool that no one knows of."
"Simple is still better than egoistical," was all she replied with.
"Roasted," the brunette's friend muttered, smirking, leading to an uproar from the rest of the audience.Kate turned bright red with rage and left the restaurant with her friends following close behind.
"Making a move or do I have to do it for you?" Paul asked Luka.
"Oh shut up" Luka whispered back, his cheeks getting redder.Luka then got up from his seat and turned to the girl, "Thanks, Irene. I appreciate that."
"Not a problem, though I'd check twice before dating a psycho," Irene replied, smirking at him a little.
"Right, I'll make sure to remember that," Luka said, scratching his head while Paul facepalmed himself.Deciding to take matters into his own hands, he spoke up, "Hey, Irene is it? My cousin here has a crush on you but needs help melting his heart a little more. Mind helping him?"
Irene started to blush, and said, "I-is that true Luka?"
Luka kicked Paul's leg before saying "S-sorry, my cousin says the dumbest things, please ignore him."Irene thought for a moment before saying "What if I don't want to?"
"What's that supposed to mean?" Luka questioned her, raising an eyebrow.
"This," she said, leaving her table, walking over to his, and planting a kiss on his lips. The whole restaurant cheered.
Irene took a step back and smiled, "If you don't mind that is,"
Luka was speechless for a moment before getting out of his seat and stepping towards her, saying "I think I'd like that,"
The two shared another kiss while the rest of the people around them cheered.Paul: "And yeah, if you're wondering, things did get loads better for the guy. Lucky a**!" 🙄
