Turns out Mr. Kingston ran back to Washington after the lunch meeting I interrupted, but I have this nagging feeling this isn't close to being over. That man seemed too zealous for Wolf Enterprise to be here in South Carolina. This state wasn't even a huge business hub until I took over The McHayes Firm 9 years ago and branched out overseas. They don't even handle the same area of business as we do.

I set up a Board meeting for later tonight. I can't see the reason they would want to be here but maybe the family can think about it in a different way.

Looking up towards the door of my office I see my brother walking my way closing out the report I was checking over. I wait for him.

"Ron."

"Want to go for lunch? I need to get away from this building before I kill Damien." Ronnie pleads with me.

Laughing I grab my jacket and follow him to the elevator. Once the doors close I turn to him asking, "What is he doing now?"

"He showed up for only ten minutes today. Said his girlfriend needed help washing her car." Ronnie recited.

"Maybe we should have Uncle Aidan meet us at lunch. Where are we going?" I say.

"The diner down the road. I need comfort food." He said.

Texting our Uncle I asked him to come with us to lunch. Pocketing my phone and matching steps with Ron we chat about how well Clemson's football team will be this year. We grab a booth in the back watching out for when Uncle Aidan comes in waving him over.

"Hey boys! Where is Damien? I figured he would be with you."

"Yeah about that..." I start looking over at my Uncle that just shakes his head plopping down in the booth next to Ronnie waving his hand at me telling me to continue. "He doesn't seem interested in working for the company."

"I don't understand how that boy functions. He doesn't want to work but wants to 'provide' for his girlfriend." Aidan said with air quotes.

"He left after 10 minutes today because his girlfriend needed help washing her car." Ronnie chimed in.

"What? She only takes her car to the automated car wash down the street from her house. How the hell is he supposed to help with that?" Aidan asked with his eyebrows almost to his hair line. I don't remember seeing him this annoyed. Is this what being a parent is like?

"Point is either he isn't ready for the work force or he doesn't want to work for the company. We can't keep allowing his behavior within the workplace. The employees are starting to take notice." I say.

The waitress approached and we each ordered a burger with fries and sweet tea.

"You're right. I'll tell him tonight after the Board meeting that if he isn't going to take his job seriously then he doesn't need to come back." Aidan looked so annoyed and exhausted.

"Alright let us know what he decides." Ronnie said.

Walking into the Board meeting with a file of what I have already of Sabastian and Wolf Enterprise. I hand it out to everyone and take my seat. Watching the faces of everyone in the room from the family that knows the information about Sabastian, to the other Board members.

"What do you need from us, Uilliam?" Grandad asks.

"I don't see why this new CEO Kingston wants to be here in Charleston so bad. He is back in Washington but I think he might try again. We know that 8 years ago their interest in expanding here was for personal reasons and being as those reasons no longer apply. What could be the reason now?" I question.
