Y/N and Missy were in his car before they parked in a reserved parking spot outside East Texas Tech.
Y/N: I haven't been here in years.
Missy: I don't think I've ever been here.
Y/N: It's a shame, this place was my old fountain of knowledge.
Missy: Old fountain of knowledge?
Y/N: Or my old learning tree.
Missy: What's with these euphemisms?
Y/N: Well, I'm now the fountain.
Y/N looked around till he saw President Hagemeyer waving them over.
Y/N: I think that's President Hagemeyer over there. Let's go.
Missy: My first day at college and I'm already meeting the President.
They both walked over. He offered a handshake that was reciprocated.
Y/N: President Hagemeyer, it's good to see. You remember Missy.
Hagemeyer: It's good to see you both again.
Missy: You too.
Missy and President Hagemeyer shook hands.
Hagemeyer: When you said you wanted to give a lecture here. I was ecstatic, you're officially our most famous alumni.
Y/N: Well, a Nobel does that your reputation. The paparazzi back in LA has become a nightmare.
Hagemeyer: Well, hopefully, a small break will get them off bored. Would you two like a tour? It's changed a lot since you were last here.
Y/N: That could be nice.
Missy: Before we start, can we go to the most important room?
Hagemeyer: What's that?
Missy: The bathroom.Hagemeyer: Sure.
Y/N: She's pregnant.
Hagemeyer: Congratulations.
Missy: Why do you keep telling everyone?
Y/N: I want the whole world to know.
A lecture hall.
Sheldon: Good evening. I'm your guest lecturer, Dr. Sheldon Cooper. I was expecting applause, but I suppose stunned silence is equally appropriate. I agreed to speak to you this evening because I was told that you're the best and the brightest of this university's doctoral candidates. Hmm. Of course, that's like saying you are the most important electron in a hydrogen atom.
Nobody laughed.
Sheldon: 'Cause, you see, there's only one electron in a hydrogen atom. Best and brightest, my sweet patootie. All right, let's begin. Show of hands, who here is familiar with the concept of topological insulators?
Everyone raised their hands.
Sheldon: Don't kid yourselves.
In Texas, at East Texas Tech.
Y/N: I'm 99% percent sure, everybody here knows who I am. If you don't I'm Y/N L/N. The 2010 Nobel Winner but that's not why I'm here today, I used to be a student here just like all of you. I've experienced the same things you have not the parties I was only fourteen.
Y/N's students shared a laugh before he moved on.
Y/N: I'm here today as a special guest of President Hagemeyer. She asked me to give you guys a lecture last year but I've been busy. Now I stand before you ready. So what do you want to talk about? I have you're lecturers notes saying to go over topological insulators. Show of hands, who here is familiar with the concept of topological insulators?
