I'm sad, you guys.
I thought I'd be ready to answer rants, and comments about the ending being horrible, but I can't seem to be positive about it.
I don't write like anyone else does. I'm not all fluffy and all happy and fangirly when I write. I am frank, honest, and realistic.
I am terribly hurt when someone complains about a plot that I've been working on for months.
I am terribly hurt when someone thinks that being together is always the best thing for two lovers. Sometimes, it's just better to part ways.
I'm terribly hurt when you don't vote because of the plot, but who am I to force you?
I am terribly hurt when someone overlooks the hard work that I've done for the book, all because of an ending they cannot accept.
In summary, I am hurt.
You may be hurt because of fictional plots, fictional people not doing what you want them to do...
But I am hurt because of real people who do not approve of what I wanted to do...
I understand you're hurt, but at least be constructive in your criticism. At least be mature about it.
Thanks to all who have read, and I'm sorry for not meeting your expectations.
