The 2 heaps of color are startled awake by the obnoxious tone of Chloes alarm. Red contemplates throwing the phone out the window as Chloe rushes to shut it off. The 2 girls exchange a kiss before gathering their outfits for the day and entering their bathrooms, they wash away any evidence of last night's antics and put on their nicest outfits(the outfits they wore when they met in the movie)and exit their bathrooms to head to class together.

C-"This is so exciting."

Red was anything but excited, but she was at least trying to be positive for the sake of her bluey.

R-"It's something all right."

Chloe practically pulled Red down the corridor and into the main hall, straight to room 251, chemistry. The bell rings, and the teacher enters the room. The first day with new students means an easy day of introductions. The students went around and introduced them selfsame one by one. Red was lucky to have Chloe there as an emotional anchor, or else this might have been too much, but she managed to introduce herself to the class without a problem, then Chloe did the same. The teacher starts to introduce the course but Red isn't really paying attention, she's to busy staring at her bluey, who's intently focused on the teacher, Red thinks it's adorable how passionate about learning Chloe is, even if she doesn't understand it. Truth be told, that's how most of the classes went for the day, introductions and Red staring at Chloe as she submitted herself to learning. The exception was P.E., Red was athletic, and she spent her childhood being trained by her mothers royal guard. She was actually better than a majority of the card soldiers in sword combat. So it was probably shock and joy when the teacher announced that it was fencing that was the first day of activity, and of course, she gets paired up with Chloe. Chloe was the captain of the Swords and Sheilds team in Cinderellasburg, but she had to prove herself here now. Over the next hour, the two girls fought valiantly, ending in a tie by the end of the period, Chloe was utterly shocked, as was the rest of the class, Red was definitely good. After class, the girls went to lunch.

C-"So uh, where did you learn to fight like that?"

R-"I told you I was trained in my mom's royal guard, and we trained without safety tips, I had to be good and fast if I wanted to live."

Chloes jaw dropped again, Red burst out laughing.

R-"I'm just joking. They didn't take the tips off until I was 13."

Chloe nearly choked on her milk, and Red laughed again.

C-"Please tell me that's a bad joke."

R-"Wish I could boo."

Reds eyes were dark and sad, and Chloe reached for her hand across the table.

C-"Did you get hurt?"

R-" Yeah, I got stabbed in the shoulder at one point, only time I lost."

C-"Holy shit Red."

R-"What? It wasn't that bad. It's healed up now. Can't even tell it happened."

C-"That doesn't make it ok."

R-"The past is past Chloe."

C-"What happened to the one who stabbed you?"

Red makes a motion across her neck, then lets her head fall to the side, eyes closed and tounge out.

C-"Why am I not surprised."

Red returns to normal with a small smile.

R-"My mom's official reason was because he hurt me, but she ignores the fact she was the one that ordered them to practice with me without the tips."

C-"Wait, did they use tips when practicing with each other?"

Red paused, then sighed.

R-"Ocasionally."
