Red and Chloe, aswell as their families, helped the girls pack their belongings. Although the school itself was shutting down, classes wouldn't stop. Each student was given a laptop as they left. Online school, at least, wasn't the worst thing ever, and the girls could spend the entire day together. The combined group of Hearts and Charmings decided to go out for lunch, mostly to forget the events of the prior day. After lunch had ended the group split to head their seperate ways, Red and Chloe said goodbye, even though they literally could see each other whenever they wanted, it still stung, especially on the heels of the night prior. Chloe also told her parents about Red and her's relationship, turns out Bridget had told Ella already, Red and Chloe were not surprised. The Hearts made their way back to Wonderland, while the Charmings returned to Cinderellasburg. Both girls explained the events of the night before to their parents, both conveniently leaving out the fact that Chloe had died, saved by Reds apparently magic tears. As Red got settled into her room again, she decided to go see Chloe, a flick of a card, and she stepped into Chloe's horrifically blue room. Chloe was surprised to see Red walk through her door, almost questioning how before she remembered the card portals.
R-"I thought my room was monotone, but my god Chloe, you have me beat."
C-"Well, I am the daughter of Cinderella. What did you think my room was gonna be, Yellow?"
R-"No, just wasn't expecting it all to be blue, like seriously even the floor, I can't tell where the walls end or begin."
C-"You're just hating cuz you don't like the color blue."
Red placed her hands around Chloes hips, pulling her in close.
R-"You're right, I don't like blue, I love it, but only on you."
C-"That was cheesy, and it rhymed."
R-"Alright, not my best work."
The two girls laughed, then kissed. They both sat down on Chloes bed, just laying together. In silence, after a while, Chloe mustered the courage to ask a question.
C-"So you really don't know how you saved me?"
Red paused, unsure of how to answer.
R-"No... I wasn't aware I could. One of the things I know the cards can't do is bring back the dead, so whatever I did wasn't because of the cards."
C-"So you have more powers than you thought?"
R-"I guess, or maybe my tears are just lifesavers."
C-"Well, in any case, thank you, but let's talk about what you were doing in the guard tower."
R-"Uhh, just trying to get my mind off everything..."
C-"Red, don't lie to me, I saw you on the railing."
R-"Ok, fine, look, I thought I lost you, and I can't lose you."
Red starts to cry.
R-"I don't think I can live without you, Chloe, you are my everything."
C-"Baby, if anything happens to me and I don't come back, I want you to live, don't end it because I'm gone, live in my memory, please."
R-"I don't know if I can Chlo, you are literally the best thing that ever happened to me, I'd be completely lost without you."
Red is full on sobbing now, Chloe has her pulled into a hug.
C-"For me baby, promise me that if anything happens to me, you will live in my memory."
R-"Ok, I promise, but nothing better happen anymore, I'm bout to put a protection spell on you."
C-"Can you even do that?"
