Chapter 10-⚠️Competition and Confrontation⚠️

Wednesday had been surprisingly uneventful in Red and Chloes lives. Classes went well, and Reds' night-terrors stopped, at least for now. Tonight, however, will be eventful, Chloe has tryouts for the Swords and Sheilds team, and she's drug along Red, who will also be trying out, even if it's just to please her girlfriend. They also have a date, stargazing up on the old watch towers. The girls make their way through the corridors of Auradon prep after their 6th period ends they make their way to the dorms, entering Chloe begins to strip out of her outfit, Red just sits and watches, Chloe notices, but continues and puts on her Swords and Sheilds uniform. Red will have to use a loaner from the school as Chloe doesn't have a spare for her, Red doesn't mind however, the two make their way to the gymnasium, Red is given a loaner and heads to the locker room to change. She soon joins the rest of the students, and they get underway.

Chloe is first up against a tall, skinny guy. He seems kinda uncoordinated, and she beats him with no issue. More students start going, Red goes up against a short blonde girl, and beats her 0-3. As the students dwindle, it looks more likely that it will be Red and Chloe battling for the top spot. Soon enough, they meet on the mat, Chloe runs toward Red, Red dashes to the right, striking their blades together as she spins around her side, sliding the blade down and making contact with Chloes stomach. POINT RED. This time, Red is on the attack, Chloe blocks her strike, ducking under Red's arm and pulling her sword around to Reds back. POINT CHLOE. Chloe is on the attack again. This time, Reds ready, she dodges and catches Chloe off guard, sword to her back. POINT RED. Red tries to distract Chloe to get behind her, but the princess manages to block her strike and catch her off guard enough to strike. POINT CHLOE. It was all up to this. Truth be told, this was fun, but Red didn't care to win, but she wasn't just gonna let Chloe have it either. Their Swords clanged together for what seemed like hours, each strike blocked, each move countered, finally Red gave Chloe a opening, she slid her blade into the open pommel guard of Reds Rapier, hooking it and pulling the sword from Reds hand, Chloe caught it and crossed them across her girlfriends neck. POINT CHLOE. Chloe was officially chosen as the captain of the S&S team. Of course, she picked Red to be her co-captain, Red wasn't exactly excited, but she also knew this meant a lot to Chloe, so she was gonna try her best. The girls headed for their dorm, the anticipation of the night thick as they entered the room. Both girls took quick showers and then got ready for their date. They both dressed fairly casually, with leggings and t-shirts in their respective colors, this was due to the location they would be going to. As night began to fall the girls ran for the abandoned guard tower on the north side of the campus, apon their arrival Red picked the lock to the door, opening it to reveal a set of staircase that led up In a spiral, they shut the door behind them and ascended the staircase, Reds flashlight the only source of light until they reached the open air of the guard room, Chloe leaned against the railing, Red behind her, holding her at the waist as they watched the sky turn darker, stars shining brighter each minute. Red began to rub Chloes back as she leaned around to kiss Chloe. The kiss was quick but conveyed a sense of need, Red needed the contact, Red needed Chloe. Chloe needed Red as well. The two girls moved in unison, and lips came crashing back together in a breathless display, their body's pressed against one another, the warmth of one another spreading through their body's like electricity. Reds' mind was already made. She wanted to give it all to this girl, and she wanted all of that girl given to her. The girls pulled back, staring into each other eyes, both sets where dark and glassy, hints of a pinkish red hidden behind Reds eyes, while Chloe had specs of Blue and green, there was something more behind their eyes, something more primal, both sets of eyes conveyed the same sense of need that their lips had just awhile before.

R-"Ya know it's getting late, we should probably go back to our room."

C-"Agreed, although I wouldn't mind coming back up here at some point, it's peaceful."
