R-"You're fighting for your girlfriend, I'm fighting for mine. Let's make it fair."

Ginny stood back up and pulled a switchblade from her pocket, flicking it open. The metal shone off the dim lights of the courtyard.

G-"No, I'm here to make her pay."

Ginny ran at Chloe again, blade in hand, and she quickly closed the distance. Chloe tried to turn around, but Ginny was now just feet from her.

R-"Chloe no"

Chloe felt Ginny hit her, and then a sharp pain spread through her stomach. The two girls fell to the ground.

R-"Fuck."

Ginny went flying off Chloe, a burst of pink energy hitting her, Red ran towards Chloe, who wasn't moving. Tears burned their way down Reds cheeks, she arrived by Chloes side, Ginny standing back up, only to be met with another wave of Reds magic. Red looked at her beautiful girl, her face was full of pain but she was smiling, Red looked down at her abdomen, the light blue fabric was stained the same color as her own hair, fresh blood was still seeping through the hole in the fabric, Red instinctively tried to hold pressure against the wound. Chloe winced in pain, the wound to her abdomen sent waved of searing hot pain rippling through her body, worse yet she could feel her blood leaking out. Red scooted closer to Chloe, tears fell of her face and onto Chloes but Chloe didn't have the energy to care, Red planted a kiss on Chloes lips and grabbed one of her hands with her free hand. Red looked to Chloes eyes, they where getting glassy and dark, the small bursts of green and blue were gone, the light seemingly diminished by the second. Red could tell the girl was faltering, another kiss, more passionate, met Chloes lips, Chloe with the last of her strength, kissed back, Red saw her chest fall for the last time, she felt her pulse stop, she watched the light exit her girlfriends eyes, Chloe felt her breath stop, her heart stop, and all of a sudden it was dark.

Both girls nearly knocked each other off the bed as they sprung awake at the same time. Tears streamed fown both their faces as they grabbed at each other and practically death gripped one another just holding each other, trying to comfort the other and themself. After what felt like an hour, they finally separated, but only a little bit.

C-"You had the dream too, didn't you?"

Red looked at her a bit shocked.

R-"Yeah."

Chloe looked at her Red. The hurt in her eyes was evident, this poor girl, her poor girl.

R-"It was so surreal, the dream the other night was vivid, but I was vaguely aware it was a dream. This one felt real."

C-"I know, I actually felt everything."

Reds look changed from hurt to concern, her hand shakily moved to Chloes stomach, she slowly lifted the fabric of Chloes shirt, to her relief there was no injury.

C-"Im ok Red, just a vivid, shared dream."

R-"What, so you're just ok with this?"

C-"No-"

R-"CHLOE I JUST WATCHED YOU DIE IN MY ARMS."

The tone of Reds' voice was a bit more angry than she had intended.

C-"Red...I FELT MYSELF DIE, but it's just a dream baby, we can't let it get to us."

Red knew she was right, but before she could say anything, a cool hand had taken hers. She felt the now familiar and calming thud of Chloes heart as her hand was placed against Chloes chest. Red took Chloes hand, and placed it against her own chest, Chloe felt Red's heart beat, far faster than her own was, but seemingly slowing down. They looked at each other again, and small smiles started to creep over their faces as they shared the intimate moment together. At some point, they had fallen back asleep, but come morning, they were both jolted awake by knocks on their door. Chloe got up to go answer it, outside stood Uma, Harry, and SRO McCain.

U-"Hey Chloe, how are you guys doing?"

C-"Good, what's going on?"

U-"Because of what happened between you two and Ginny last night I'm going to have to put you guy under a suspension, don't worry it's not permanent and it won't go on your record since it was self defense, it however is Auradon preps policy, you guys have the rest of the week off till next Monday. Also, Officer McCain would like to speak with you guys."

C-"Red, come here, please."

Red slowly walked up behind her girlfriend, staring at the officer."

M-"You ok if we come inside? we really shouldn't have this conversation in the hallway."

C-"Yeah, sure, come in."

The group made their way into the dorm.

M-"Alright, so first things first, you two are ok, right?"

C-"Yeah, a little shook up, but ok."

R-"Yeah, I'm good."

M-"Ok, next thing, I need to know now if you guys want to press charges against Ginny?"

The girls looked at each other, and a silent nod between them seemed to verify their answers.

R+C-"Yes."

M-"Ok, good, I will get the paperwork filled for it. You both will be sent a letter and will most likely have to testify against her at some point in the future in court."

The officer turned to Red.

M-"As for you you young lady, I heard you used magic to defend your roommate, I also heard you got chewed out by my coworkers over it, as it stands right now magic is not allowed to be used by anyone in Auradon without a license to perform it, however since you did not come from here and it was in the nature of self defense you will not be charged, truthfully I think you did the right thing."

R-"Thanks, and also noted, how exactly do you get a license for magic?"

M-"Well, you can't without credentials. It has to be used for work, or if you are royalty, you can get an application for it. However, your royal status does not apply in Auradon currently."

R-"Oh, well shoot."

M-"Ill be honest with you, along as you use it for good most of us won't care, but some will, I'm not telling you to use it but I'm also not telling you not too, just be careful and make good decisions."

R-"I will try."

M-"Also, a certain someone told me about your little encounter with a cop car the other day."

R-"Yeah, I'd never seen one or head of you guys till I got here."

M-"Well, the officer that you met was my brother, I told him I was working a case involving the daughter of the Charmings, and he asked if you guys were alright. He also told me to tell you Red, that the Auradon City Police Department has a explorer program, basically a introduction into being a officer, it's a 3 month course, on Saturdays from 6-9 PM, if you want to join go to the station for a application, it starts this week so be quick."

R-"Thanks, and I might just."

M-"We always need more youngsters to join, I'm getting too old for the running around chasing people. Anyways, I will leave you two alone now, take care."

The officer smiled at the girls before he gave a knowing nod to Uma and Harry.

U-"Alright, well, if you two need anything at all, even a hug, just come see me. You are excused from classes until Monday, so enjoy your couple of days off."

With that, the three officials walked out of the dorm, closing the door behind them, Red looked at Chloe, who looked upset.

R-"You ok Chlo?"

C-"Yeah, just kinda upset. we get punished for what she did."

R-"We aren't getting punished, Uma said it isn't going to affect us. it's just a policy she has to follow. Just think of it as an extended weekend that we get to spend together."

C-"I guess, but first order of business is a few more hours of sleep, we gotta stop waking up at 3 AM."

R-"To be fair, it's not because we want to."

C-"I know, baby. I was just joking."

The girls embraced and fell to the bed, cuddling up together and drifting off to sleep again.
