Chapter 41-⚠️Rescue?⚠️

*Directly after the last chapter*

The VK's stood in a half circle around Chloe, who was sitting up against the wall. The VK's were trying to come up with ideas on how to get Briget back, Chloe figured out pretty quick they only actually took her as a way to get Red to bring them Bridget, which both calmed her and scared her all at the same time.

C-"So what's your plan with me?"

The VK's looked at Chloe with surprise. They hadn't been expecting her to talk.

U-"Im gonna use you as bait to bring your little red headed girlfriend here, and she's gonna have a choice, you or her mom, and if she picks her mom, then I think I'm gonna keep you for myself."

Uliana's words almost made Chloe throw up, but she remained as stoic as she could for the time being, awaiting her eventual rescue. The VK's, on the other hand, continued to talk it out, trying to figure out exactly how they were gonna get Briget if Red didn't give her up for Chloe. Chloe listened with intent, gathering as much of the plan as she could before the villains dispersed, Uliana however stayed back.

U-"You think Red's gonna save you?"

C-"Yes."

U-"I mean, do you think she will give up her mom to have you?"

Chloe didn't want to think about what the true answer to that is. But Uliana wouldn't let up.

U-"You don't know, do you?"

C-"I mean, it's her mom."

U-"What does she not love you?"

C-"Of course she loves me."

U-"Then she should give up her mom for you."

C-"Or you could just let this whole thing go."

U-"Not happening, ya know, I almost hope she doesn't give up her mom, I mean, I'll get Briget either way, but I'd get to keep you, and we would have fun together."

C-"What does that even mean?"

U-"You know exactly what it means, but I won't do anything yet, I may be a villain, but I don't like wrecking relationships."

C-"Interesting."

Chloe could feel Uliana looking her up and down, and it made her feel sick, like a piece of meat being fed to a hungry dog.

C-"Hypothetically, how would you do those things if I won't let you?"

U-"It's really simple, you will!"

C-"No offense, but I'd rather die."

U-"While I do enjoy killing people, you're too pretty to just let go, but trust me, I have my ways."

C-"So what you're gonna rape me?"

U-"Oh no, I only did that to Brodget because she deserved it. You don't deserve that."

C-"Your disgusting."

U-"You won't be saying that in the future, sweety."

C-"Dont call me sweet either."

U-"I took the redhead as the feistier one, but maybe I was mistaken."

C-"No, she's just rubbed off on me."

No later than Chloe said this, they both heard the sound of a siren in the distance. Uliana smirked at Chloe as she helped her to stand before guiding her outside. As Chloe and the VK's got outside, McCain and Red rolled up, getting out of the truck.

U-"Well, well, I knew you'd come to save your little girlfriend."

R-"Just let her go, Uliana."

U-"Ok, but on one condition."

R-"What is it?"

U-"You bring me your mom."

R-"What?"

U-"It's simple Red, you can have your girlfriend back unharmed right now if you give up your mom, otherwise in keeping the surf here, and I'll just get your mom myself."

Red looked at Chloe, who looked back, McCain looked over at Red, who looked up at him.

R-"Just let Chloe go."

U-"Not unless you get me Bridget."

R-"You really want me to choose?"

U-"Obviously."

R-"Give me Chloe, and I'll get you my mom."

U-"Do you really think I'm stupid? I'm not giving you anything until Bridget is already in my possession, and only then will you get your little smurf here."

R-"And how do I know you aren't just gonna stab me in the back and take them both?"

U-"I may be a villain, but a deal is a deal."

R-"Alright then, but I swear if there is as much as a scratch on her when I get back, I'll end you myself."

U-"You have an hour, or smurf becomes mine."

Red quickly got into the truck, followed by McCain as they headed for the rabbit hole at breakneck speeds. What Uliana didn't know is that once they hit the main road, they turned around.

R-"You got any ideas?"

M-"Yeah, catch them offguard, and get Chloe back."

R-"This would be the time to have bullets that froze people."

M-"Surprised we never thought of that."

McCain drove up onto the treeline at the back of the lagoon. Him and Red quietly exited the truck as they walked up to the back of the fish. They both kneeled against the wall, and Red pulled her knife out. Red cut an opening into the back of the fish's skin, and they peered inside. They saw nothing of interest, Red ripped the opening further and slipped herself insideit's was a little harder for McCain to get in, but he managed to get in aswell.

M-"Wow, it's cold in here."

R-"Not surprising, now let's find Chloe."

They moved slowly through the shadows. It wasn't too far until they found a opening, and a certain blue haired princess sitting against the wall. Red waved at Chloe, who looked up at her and smiled, Red came running over, but Chloe shook her head and pointed to her right. Red stopped and looked around the corner to see Hades leaning up against the wall. Hades wasn't focused on Chloe, but instead was too busy messing with the gun in his hand.
