Chapter 26-⚠️Red's Revival⚠️

Saturday 19th October 2024 - The spot, Enchanted Forest

Pink energy slipped from Red's body and into the unknown man's. Without warning, his cuffs vanished, and he threw Geigos up against a tree with a burst of pink magic. The man ran at the disabled officer and grabbed his gun, turning to point it at McCain.

BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG.

M-"DO NOT MOVE!"

More officers ran up guns pointed at the man, who lay motionless against the tree, riddled with 9MM bullets from McCain's gun. The officers ran up to secure the gun and the man. Meanwhile, Chloe wept next to Red's motionless body. Her pulse was weak, and she was barely breathing. A few of the officers ran to render aid to the man, but it was too late. He was officially gone. McCain and a few others ran to assist Red, who was barely alive. Chloe watched as the officers attempted to stabilize Red, but she was faltering, Chloe held Red's cheek as she cried before planting a small kiss on Red's lips. Red's body reacted to the kiss, and Chloe jumped back in surprise as Red's hand opened slightly.

G-"Uh, guys, what the hell is happening."

They all looked at Geigos, who was looking at the body of the man, pink energy rippled through the air around him, slowly coming closer to them. Chloe realized Red was doing this, and she kissed her again, the energy surged, coming towards them faster, Chloe placed her hand over Red's heart and kissed her again as the energy crashed into Red's body, her heart fluttered against Chloe's hand before the energy surge pushed Chloe off of Red's body. Chloe felt as if she had been electrified but she crawled back to Red's side, she pressed her hand to Red's chest, and felt nothing, Red's heart wasn't beating.

C-"No, you're not leaving me Red."

Chloe held Red as she cried. She pressed another kiss onto Red's now cold lips. She felt sparks, but not like when they normally kissed, this felt like actual electricity. Before she could think another thought, McCain pulled her away from Red's body.

M-"Im sorry, Chloe, but she's part of a crime scene. I can't let you keep disturbing it."

Chloe looked over at Red, her body still motionless. She buried her face in her hands and cried, and then she felt a hand on her back.

C-"Red?"

R-"Yes, Chlo, it's me."

Now everyone was confused, even the dogs.

C-"How."

R-"Magic."

C-"Seriously?"

R-"Yes, I'll explain it later."

After a ridiculously long night of interviews, paperwork, and investigation, the girls were finally cleared to go back to their dorm. Once inside, Chloe asked the inevitable.

C-"What was all that?"

R-"Where do you want to start?"

C-"When you fell to the ground."

R-"Alright, well, you aren't gonna like part of it."

C-"Just tell me."

R-"I kissed him."

C-"WHAT."

R-"Listen, he forced himself on me, I let him kiss me and grope me to get him to let go of my hand so I could blast his ass, but when we kissed, it linked our energy."

C-"What does that even mean."

R-"When a Wonderlandian links energy with another Wonderlandian, it gives us partial access to that energy. He was able to use that link that was formed to siphon my energy, which almost killed me."
