Sunday, 28th August, 2024-Auradon Prep

The sunrays danced through the window of Red and Chloe's room. This time, Red was in its path and was subsequently blinded by it. Red got up and looked at Chloe, who was still sleeping like a baby. God, she's cute when she's asleep. Red walked into the bathroom and freshened up before heading back to the bed with Chloe, who was still out cold. Red grabbed her phone to look at the time, 6:45 AM. Red groaned as she lay back down next to Chloe, wrapping her arms around her and going back to sleep.

Chloe woke up not too long after Red had gotten up. She admired Red sleeping for a while before getting up to freshen up. Red woke back up as Chloe not so gracefully fell off the bed trying to get up. Yes, it was gonna be one of those days. Chloe got up, ignored the pain, and walked to the bathroom as Red tried her best not to bust out laughing. About twenty minutes go by, and Chloe still hasn't exited the bathroom, Red gets concerned and goes to check on her. She knocks on the door to Chloes bathroom.

R-"Chlo, you alright?"

Chloe's reply is barely understandable. She is practically sobbing. Red decides to go in. She opens the door only to have water splash against her face, Chloe is standing on top of the toilet with a cup and laughing her ass off.

R-"So that's how you want to play things?"

Red tried to grab Chloe, but she managed to evade capture and ran across the dorm into Red's bathroom. Red grabbed one of the other cups off the counter in Chloe's bathroom and filled it with water. She then made the way to her bathroom. Red opened the door and chucked the water directly at Chloe, Chloe tried to throw hers but missed due to the water hitting her, Red bust out laughing as Chloe called a truce. The girls then changed out of their now soaked clothes and gathered up everything they needed to wash before heading to the on campus laundromat. They spent ages waiting for their clothes to finish before hiking it all back up to the room. They both reorganized their dressers and remade their beds, then sat down together on Red's freshly made bed.

R-"So what are you gonna do tonight while I'm on my ride along?"

C-"I was thinking about going to the Beast party."

R-"The what?"

C-"The Beast party, it happens every year for Beasts birthday, which is tomorrow, so we don't have school."

R-"Wait, so if it's tomorrow, why's the party tonight?"

C-"If it was tomorrow, we would all stay up too late and not go to school on Tuesday."

R-"Oh, I should have figured, but damn, I wish I would have known before I signed up."

C-"Yeah, sorry I would have told you, but I completely forgot myself until Heidi texted me."

R-"It's ok, I'm excited about tonight anyway."

C-"Well, do me a favor and stay safe. It's dangerous out there."

R-"I'll be fine. Sgt. Williams has guns, and I'm gonna take my cards just to be extra safe."

C-"I know, I just worry about you."

R-"Well, I appreciate it.

They kiss before heading for lunch. Their lunch goes the same as usual, then it's to the lake for a while, they sit around with their feet in the water, just talking. Red was trying her best not to let the uneasy feeling in her stomach show. She'd felt like this since Chloe had told her to stay safe, just nervous to hit the streets, right? Chloe seemingly was oblivious to Red's unease and was happily splashing her feet in the water. Red got an evil idea. Without warning, she shoved Chloe into the water. Chloe practically flew into the water, rising to the surface only a few seconds after. She grabbed Reds' feet and pulled her in. The girls surfaced quickly, splashing each other while laughing. After a while, they pulled each other close, and they slowly rocked in the water in each other's arms, almost like they were dancing. Red went to kiss Chloe, who kissed her right back before separating.
