Chapter 3-Why do I feel this way?

Chloe awoke suddenly to the sound of crying. Chloe peered to her side to see Red, in the fetal position, rocking back and forth. Chloe checked her phone. It was 3:36 AM, and she slowly got up, moving over to the crying girl. She slowly extended a hand out to Reds back. Red jumped at the contact but allowed it, Chloe slowly sat on the bed and started to wrap her arms around Red. Red shuddered as Chloes cold hands ran down her waist and ended on her exposed stomach, Chloe fully seated herself on the bed and pulled Red into the hug, which she allowed.

C-"Are you ok?"

R-"Yes, just a nightmare, I'm ok."

Chloe felt the girl relax beneathe her, she had realized hugging Red calmed her down the day prior so she just did it again. After a minute or so, Chloe attempts to move back to her bed. However, Red, who is currently extremely comfy, stops her. Chloe submits and lays down, and sleep overtakes her again. As she falls asleep, she instinctively pulls Red in, and a hand moves up her torso, stopping just under the edge of her crop top. Red feels Chloes hand run up her torso, she at first is concerned Chloes gonna try something but then hears her lightly snore in her ear, between the hand holding tightly to her lower stomach and the hand close to her breast she can't help but get butterflies in her stomach, then Chloe shifts in her sleep. Chloes hand grazes upwards under Red's shirt and across the bottom of her bra, Chloes other hand is remaining firmly on her stomach. Red shudders at the touch, the warm fluffy feeling engulfs her whole body as a distinct and familiar warmth develops in her shorts. Red, despite her upbringing, is not a stranger to sexual desire. She is a human, after all. Her mother taught her the basics, more so for future heirs than healthy safe relationships, but education is education at least. Red had felt this before. However, this was stronger. The only other time it was this strong was when she kissed the guard back home. She shook her head to snap out of it, Chloes a girl, I like boys, I can't let a girl make me feel like this, can I? Red doesn't sleep much the rest of the night, between her wondering brain and Chloes wondering hands. By morning, she is trying to convince herself she's straight, cue Chloes obnoxious alarm, Chloe awakens slowly, she hugs Red tighter and whispers.

C-"Good morning, Princess."

Realizing what she's doing and then where her hand is, she scrambles to pull her hands away from Red who thinks she's gonna loose it, the look of embarrassment on Chloes face is adorable, no its not...yes it is...and the way she just called her princess just brought all the emotions she worked all night to suppress back in an instant.

C-"Oh my god, I'm sorry, Red. I don't know what I was thinking please don't be mad."

R-"Chloe, calm down, you were asleep, it's not like you did it on purpose. It's my fault for wearing this top."

C-"Red, stop blaming yourself."

R-"What, I'm the one who put the shirt on."

C-"And I'm the one whose hand ended up where it shouldn't of."

R-"It's ok, Chloe, don't beat yourself up over it."

Chloe quickly gets up and goes over to her bed, grabs some clothes out of her dresser, and heads to the bathroom." Red follows suit. Soon, they both emerge from their bathrooms, Red is in her classical black leather pants and red leather jacket with hood(same as in the red music video). Chloe is in a dark blue dress with matching pants and a light blue puffy mini jacket on top. She picks up her phone and starts typing on it, seemingly unaware of Reds's presence. Red is the first to look. She glances up and down at Chloe. She always thought she was beautiful. But this was the first time she actually paid attention to all of the young woman's attributes.

R-"You look good, Ms. Charming."

A Smirk appears on both of their faces as Chloe turns to red and checks her out.

C-"Right back at ya, princess."

Reds cheeks become the same shade as her hair, she hated being called princess by everyone, everyone except Chloe. Chloe, at this point, noticed the blushing but didn't say anything. Instead, she walked over to Red, grabbed her hand, and pulled her out the door, much to Reds protest.

R-"Chloe slow down."

C-"Never, we've got places to see and people to meet."

R-"What if I don't want to?"

C-"Cute, you think you have a choice."

Red blushed harder, Chloe was enjoying this. She wasn't gonna say anything, but she was starting to suspect Red was falling for her. As the day went on, Red continued to argue with herself over her feelings for her friend. Meanwhile, Chloe was having fun teasing Red. As lunch started, the 2 girls continued to talk until another girl joined them at the table, Heidi, the daughter of Anna of Arendale. She was a spitting image of her mother and also was Chloes ex-girlfriend. Heidi started to talk to Chloe, Red watched. At first, she didn't care, but soon her blood started to boil, Chloe turned to Red to introduce them.

C-"Red, this is Heidi of Arendale, she also is my ex-girlfriend I told you about."

H-"Hello Red, pleasure to meet you."

R-"Hi, so you're the one who broke up with Chloe?"

C-"Yeah, we just weren't that good as lovers, but we are still friends, at least."

R-"Talk about a fumble, how about you two catch up, maybe fix that relationship up."

Red walked away quickly, Heidi smiled at Chloe, who started laughing.

H-"Well, I believe you're right, that girls got feelings for you."

C-"Yeah, thanks for the help. I'm gonna go hunt her down before she breaks something."

H-"Good luck!"

Chloe got up and chased after Red. A little while later, she goes back to their room. When she enters, she finds Red laying in her bed under a blanket. She sits down on the edge of the bed.

C-"Red?"

R-"What?"

C-"You ok?"

R-"Yeah, I'm great. Why aren't you and Heidi hanging out?"

C-"Oh, I wanted to come check on you."

R-"Why do you care?"

C-"Because you're my friend, and I care about your well-being."

R-"Well, thanks, but I'm fine."

C-"Bullshit."

R-"Wow, Ms. Goody Blue Shoes over here cusses, surprising."

C-"Red...what's wrong."

R-"I wish I knew Chlo, I don't have a clue why I feel the way I do."

C-"What do you mean."

R-"The last few days I keep getting this powerful feeling, and I don't know why im feeling it."

C-"Is that why you left in a rush?"

R-"Kinda, idk, just seeing you and Heidi talk made me upset, I don't even know know why, I just can't understand why she would let go of someone like you."

Chloes heart broke when she heard that.

C-"Red...that's called jealousy, it's a perfectly normal emotion, and I should come clean, Heidi was never my girlfriend, my ex moved far away after we split, she's just a friend."

R-"Then why introduce her as your ex?"

C-"We had a plan, I wanted to see how you'd react."

R-"Welp, you saw it now, happy?"

C-"Yes actually, tell me, Red, do you like me?"

Red froze, and the room got eerily silent.
