Lucia took Ethan into the mage chamber room, and seraphina followed Ethan along the way. It is a vast chamber filled with strange instruments, glowing orbs, and runes etched into the walls. It seemed like a training room for mages

And before they arrived there is a woman already inside the room waiting silently, her features are similar to Queen Lucia

"I will tell you everything you want to know about magic...And Why are you here Amaris " Lucia said while pointing at the girl similar to her

"Big sis, don't be too stingy, he is my nephew too, I want to help him, I will " She jumped up exictely.

"Seriously, you are a grown women shut up." My mother said while hissing at her "Act like it. But... fine. You can help. But no childish antics, understand?"

Amaris beamed, her earlier excitement returning. "Yes, sister!"

"This might be a bit too hard to understand for a kid, but I know my you will understand it very well. " Lucia said as she took a deep breath.

"First you understand all the elements right, they are fire, water, ice, earth, lightning, light and dark. " Lucia replied pointing with a symbolic representation of those elements.

"These are the natural elements where mana is used .Each element represents a different aspect of nature and possesses unique properties and energies." Amaris replied interrupting Lucia

"Tch . Mana is the life force that flows through all living beings and the world itself. Mages draw upon mana to fuel their spells and abilities. " Lucia continued.

" Each mage has a natural affinity for one or more elements, which determines their strengths and weaknesses. Mages can specialize in different paths, each with its own techniques and philosophies. " Lucia explained while gazing at her son figuring if he understood.

"Big sis" Amaris said had enough growing annoyed at Lucia's explanation. " He is a kid, philosophy and that kind of complicated explanation is pretty hard and lame. "

"Mom, you said different paths, what do you mean " Ethan asked trying to collect the key words of Lucia's words.

Lucia interested in trying to teach her son replied eagerly."You see there are six of magic categories they are- "

"Actually it consists of the six types. I will explain in simple way

Conjugation is Creating objects, creatures, or structures from elemental energy mana.

Weaver type is about changing the objects properties and state using mana. That is, altering what is already there. Not creating, not destroying

Channeler: Separating mana from body and channeling it through elemental energy of mana into blasts, barriers, or healing. The evocation and control of energy

Enchanter: Use magic to influence objects with magical properties, influencing minds or to move objects.

Augmentation: : Using magic to enhance your own physical properties of an object. Using magic to strength yourself or an object" Amaris explained in a proud tone while earning scolding from my mother by not properly explaining it.

"You said six types and you explained only five? And can I use all six? Is each one need separate training? "Ethan asked them.

"Big sis, properly explaining all the magic types to a kid is a tough, even you should understand that what I explained isn't wrong right. " Amaris said pouting while trying to defend her point.

"Yes, agreed. ....Wait, I have a better idea, let's check Ethan's compatibility and procced according to his talents " Lucia concluded.

"MOM! One type missing from six types. " Ethan tried to know about the last type.

"Actually, the last type is Oracle. It magic type have completely different effects. Currently unknown how Oracles develop their Magical abilities, as Oracles does not follow a particular set of rules like the other Magical types do, so explaining how it works to you right now, might be know. Sorry darling. I know how it means to you " Lucia tried to console her son

"Even so" Ethan tried to protest.

"Don't worry, if you have oracle talent, I will step by step guide you. I believe you might be one, since all oracle mages are special mages " Lucia tried to make a proud statement

"Big sis, don't try to raise his hopes. He might be disappointed if he doesn't have that talent. It was a rare type for a reason."

Lucia retrieved a unique device, an highly decorated conch shell carved with swirling patterns. "This is a Waterfall Gauge," she explained, "an ancient relic used to measure a mage's elemental affinities."

She placed the conch in Ethan's hands. As he held it, water cascaded down its spiraling grooves, each stream glowing with a different color, representing the various elements. The waterfall illuminated with varying light intensities, revealing his innate talents.

Dark: S (Exceptional) Water: A (Excellent) Wind: C(Average) Fire: C (Average) Earth: D (Below Average) Electricity: D (below average) Ice: E (minimal) Light: F (Undetectable)

"This... this can't be right," she murmured, her voice trembling. "Let's try again."

Lucia's face paled as soon as she saw the results. The overwhelming presence of dark magic and she couldn't believe what she saw.

When was the last time she saw some with above A in dark magic, probably when her father was the one. But it was insane for her child to be dark mage.

She repeated the process, but the results remained the same. The dark waterfall cascaded down the conch with an unsettling intensity.

Lucia's heart sank. She had hoped for a different outcome, a safer path for her son.

"Ahhaha" Lucia laughed a bit. But the reality was undeniable.

Amaris, sensing her sister's distress, placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "It's alright, Lucia," she said gently. "Ethan is strong. He'll learn to control his powers."

Lucia placed her hand aside " Don't you get it. My son is a genius, he is a genius Dark mage " She suddenly laughed a bit

"Yeah he is great in water and dark affinities but his other talents suck though. But aren't you worried that dark mage can bit dangerous."

"I will protect my son, even if he is dark mage he is son and I will cherish him very well. It might be dangerous path, but he will be great with teaching~ " Lucia went quickly to his son and hugged him tightly.

"It wasn't that much great of a talent though " Ethan somehow seemed more unhappy.

"Don't be. Having one 'S' level elemental affinity is worth than getting 3 "A' level affinities. And that too dark magic. You should be proud of yourself " Amaris said while patting his head.

Lucia then smiled. "It seems you have a natural talent for water magic, Ethan. And... a surprisingly strong affinity for dark magic as well. This is quite unusual, but not unheard of. We'll focus your training on these two elements, but we'll also have to determine your magical type affinity too."

She then presented a small, polished mirror to Ethan. "This is a divination tool. It will reveal your primary magical path."

Ethan gazed into the mirror, his reflection shimmering and warping. Words appeared in glowing letters that determined his main type.
