NATHAN

My lips. Her cheeks.

The feel of her soft skin under my mouth was too damn addictive. That, along with the delicious scent of her skin, persuaded me to continue my onslaught on her rosy cheek. I then moved my lips and kissed her earlobe, making her sigh in pleasure.

She nuzzled her body closer to me and arched her back so her breasts dug deeper into my chest. I felt drunk on her and slid my hands along her waist, down to her hips, digging my fingers into the soft fleshy skin.

"Mr. Byers." She called my name.

"Hmm." I said and brought my lips down to kiss the hollow of her neck. Her natural scent was better than any perfume I have smelled.

"Mr. Byers." The voice was more masculine this time.

The voice jerked me from my daydream and I realized I was in an important meeting in the middle of the conference room.

Everyone was looking at me for my input but I had no clue what was going on around me.

"I... Um... I..." I looked towards my secretary and she nodded suggestively.

"Yes, I second that." I said and excused myself saying I have a headache.

I went back to my office and groaned in frustration. Why in hell was I daydreaming about Ellie in the middle of a meeting like a stupid teenager? And why was I dreaming of kissing her on top of that?

Maybe it had something to do with our conversation related to kissing last night. Or maybe it was due to the fact that I carried her in my arms bridal style today morning. Whatever the reason was, it should never happen again.

I was busy figuring out a good explanation for what happened earlier when the door opened and my secretary walked in. She briefed me about the meeting and afterwards, gave me an invite to a party on Sunday.

"Should I RSVP?" She asked.

The invite read the name The MacElroys. MacElroys were important people and their party was not to be missed by the elite of the society. Just one small hiccup, I was 99% sure they had also invited my ex Sabrina and knowing her, she would never miss.

"Should I?" She asked again.

"Yes." I said.

Once she left, I called Ellie. She picked up after one ring and then responded in her silky voice. "Yes."

"I'll take you for shopping after work." I said briefly.

"But why?" She asked, her voice dripping with confusion.

"Because we are going to make our debut as a couple in society." I replied and cut the call before she could ask anything else.

After work, I made my way straight to Ellie's office but to my dismay, it was empty. I knocked at Drake's office door to ask about her whereabouts and that's when I found Ellie inside, laughing at something he was saying. I don't know why but my chest tightened at the sight of her being cozy with someone else.

They both stiffened on seeing me and Ellie sat straight, her carefree posture gone, as if I'll bite her.

"What are you guys laughing about?" I said casually while taking seat beside Ellie. I wished I had not told Drake about the truth of my relationship with Ellie. It would have made it easier to act possessive about Ellie.

"I was telling her about the time you had to parade out of your office naked." He said and my face started burning in embarrassment while Ellie stared laughing on hearing this.
