51. STONE COLD

ELLIE

The short nap turned into a lengthy 6-hour nap. When I woke up next, I found myself engulfed in a tight hold. At first I panicked how I got here but then I remembered his illness. I lifted my head slightly and found Nathan sleeping peacefully, his mouth slightly parted. He was still warm but a lot better than before now.

Realizing our intimate position, I tried to move but his hold was tight. Our bodies were practically glued together and I could feel his every movement, every heartbeat. I tried to ignore the burning in the pit of my stomach but it was too intense. I hated to admit how much I liked being cuddled like that, with someone as muscular and huge as Nathan.

I was lost in my thoughts when suddenly, Nathan opened his eyes and caught me staring at him red handed. He opened his eyes to narrow slits and watched me with his intense gaze as I shifted in his hold.

Unknowingly, my pelvis dug into his and a large bulge prodded into my stomach.

Oh God.

"How do you feel now?" I asked, trying not to look into his eyes and ignore his um... parts.

"Better." he whispered, still not losing his hold. I'm glad my hair came to the rescue and hid my flushed face.

"I'll go... um... bring your... medicines." I stammered and tried to get away but his arms stayed frozen.

"Stay." He whispered gently. I looked into his eyes and there was warmth in them for me. My heart began beating faster in my chest and I tried to think of an excuse to leave. It was difficult for me to deal with all these emotions that were erupting inside my chest.

My eyes fell to his lips and they looked really inviting. I unknowingly licked my lips and my action brought his attention to them.

Watching him stare at my lips created a whirlpool in my belly and I tried my best not to think about his lips, or mouth, or face in general.

But it wasn't as easy as I had thought. My body automatically moved closer to his and my vision started to turn blurry. His head also moved closer, decreasing the distance between us. Our breaths became ragged and my head began to feel numb. All my thoughts jumbled up and I couldn't think straight anymore.

Lost in those feelings, I felt his hot breath on the area around my mouth and it warmed me up inside out. I licked my lips one more time and all of sudden, I felt his lips on the corner of my mouth.

My eyes closed instantly and I turned my head to respond to his kiss. My mouth automatically began to move against his. I didn't know what was happening and I didn't want to think either. All I could feel was his lips sucking mine, stealing all my breath. I felt his arms sneak under my shirt and holding my bare waist.

Our tongues were colliding in the heat of passion and I was trying my best not to show my inexperience. I have had kisses before but they never felt like this. They were just sloppy and weird while this one, it was amazing.

My brain still wasn't able to accept the fact that we were kissing. No, not just kissing, he was sucking my face and his tongue was gaining dominance inside my mouth.

I tried to part ways but Nathan brought his hands to my face and held it closer while he sucked my face even more. I was getting breathless but I also didn't want to stop. It felt so good that taking a breath didn't seem important at all.

I don't know how much time has passed once we finally parted. It took us some time to regain our sanity and once we did, our faces turned red in embarrassment.

I immediately hurried off away from him and he did the same. We parted away and I hopped off the bed, the cold hitting me suddenly once I was no longer in his hold.
