Now that Hyunjin's curfew was finally changed to 11 pm, he was able to talk to his brothers later at night. They usually called or texted every day, but it was hard with the time difference.
Hyunjin started complaining to Minho about how Jisung had been annoying him lately.
"It was totally unfair. Jisung didn't even get in trouble at all!" He scoffed.
"Hyunjin, you're 17. You should be more mature by now." Minho scolded.
"Well at least I'm not doing what you were doing at 17." Hyunjin mumbled in annoyance.
"What? I can't hear you. The connection must be bad."
"Nothing." Hyunjin quickly responded to avoid suspicion.
"Okay. well, I gotta go to work soon. And you should probably get to sleep."
"Isn't Binnie Hyung there? I wanted to tell him a story!"
"I'm here!" Changbin called from the background.
"Call him back on his phone then. I need to go." Said Minho.
"Okay."
"Saranghae Hyunjin-ah~"
"Saranghae Hyung."
Hyunjin quickly called Changbin.
"Binnie hyung! You have to hear this story!"
Hyunjin said excitedly.
"About what?"
"Channie hyung told me this wild story about how him and Minho hyung had this big fight a long time ago."
"Really?" Changbin asked, definitely interested.
Hyunjin began recounting Chan's story.
After hearing the whole thing, Changbin was not the least bit surprised.
"I knew it! I knew something like that must've happened!" He said.
"Really? I had no idea!" Hyunjin responded.
"Yeah! Lino hyung suddenly started acting differently. You're probably too young to remember."
"I mean, I guess." Hyunjin shrugged. "So you're not surprised at all?"
"Well. I'm surprised Channie hyung used his belt. I can't even imagine that. Are you sure he actually did that?"
"Channie hyung told me himself! He literally said he did it."
"I didn't think that would have ever been on the table for any of us."
"Yeah. I didn't think so either." Hyunjin hummed.
"Yeah, cuz like, Chan hyung never really approved that kind of thing." Changbin said.
"Well I don't think he'd do it to anyone else. Maybe unless we also got in trouble with some girl or something." Hyunjin said.
"Yeah. Or maybe Minho hyung was so arrogant, that Chan hyung got desperate." Changbin laughed.
"Maybe." Hyunjin admitted. "So what did you mean when you said Lino hyung started acting differently after?"
"Well, he started asking Channie Hyung what to do sometimes, instead of just doing whatever he wanted. I guess he would've been about 17 like you said.
