"Hey, you wanna come in?"

"Oh. . . Umm. Well, I left Byron at home." Amelia responded timidly.

"Oh, Bring Byron!" Chan said happily.

She thought for a second. "Yeah. Then sure." She said.

"I'll make coffee." Chan said. "Or do you drink coffee?"

"Oh, tea actually." She responded.

"I'll make tea."

~~~
Chan went back in the house, pie in hand.
He placed it on the kitchen counter.
Another round of laughter roared through the kitchen.
Felix was a little confused. "Why did Byron's mom bring you a pie?" He asked.
Hyunjin threw his head back laughing again.
"She brought US a pie. For everyone. As a thank you." Chan explained.
"Oh sure." Hyunjin hummed.
"Well that's nice." Felix said.
"Yes. It is." Chan agreed.
Hyunjin couldn't stop laughing.
"And. If someone hadn't eaten all the ice cream that I JUST BOUGHT, we could've had it with this pie." Chan said giving Felix an unimpressed look.
"Okaaaay. . ." Felix said, shrugging and giving Chan the side eye. "I'm so confused." He whispered to himself.
"Hyunjin. If you're going to keep laughing, go to your room and calm yourself down. Amelia and Byron are coming to have tea." Chan said after a few seconds.
"WHAT?!" Hyunjin gasped.
"You heard me."
"Really?!!!!" Jeongin yelled happily.
"Yes."
"Does this mean-" Jeongin started.
"NO!" Chan quickly cut him off. "Don't bring that up again."
Chan started making tea while Seungmin sat at the table chuckling to himself.
Jeongin couldn't help himself. "Daaaad?"
"What?"
"Well I just think that it would be nice if-"
"Jeongin, if you say what I think you're going to say, I will spank you right here, right now." Chan warned.
The rest of the kids started laughing again. Even Felix, although he didn't know what for.
Jeongin let out a giggle. He was having a blast making Chan suffer.
Chan turned back around and started searching the cupboards for tea.
"All of this has probably been here since before grandpa died." Chan said, not meaning for it to sound so morbid.
Finally he found some Jasmine tea that wasn't that old. "Why are there so many kinds of tea? Does she like this kind?" He asked himself out loud.
The kids giggled at Chan's struggle.
"Why are we laughing?" Felix quietly asked.
"Because Dad's marrying Byron's mom." Jeongin whispered.
"What?! Dad?! Are you dating Amelia?!" Felix yelled at Chan.
Chan turned around.
Jeongin immediately booked it to the living room.
Chan followed him.
Jeongin hid behind the couch, and then when Chan got close, he ran back to the kitchen.
Again Chan followed him.
Jeongin tried to run around the Island, but Chan reached over, pulling him around by his shirt.
Once Chan had a firm hold on him, Jeongin started screaming and flailing around.
The kids were all sitting at the table.
Seungmin was still sitting on the closest chair.
Chan grabbed the chair. "Get up please." he said.
Seungmin jolted up and scampered to the other side of the island, to get away from what was happening.
Hyunjin just sat there, totally unsurprised. The whole thing was fairly entertaining to him though.
Felix was very confused, and concerned.
Chan sat down and pulled Jeongin over his knee.
*smack smack smack*
*SMACK SMACK SMACK*
"Are you done acting like a brat?!" Chan asked.
Jeongin didn't respond. He was mad now.
*SMACK!*
"Owwww!" Jeongin whined.
"Answer me." Chan said.
"Yes." Jeongin mumbled.
Chan stood Jeongin up in front of him.
"Stop making those jokes. That's not funny. And don't spread lies to people. We're having a neighbor over. That's all.  We've had other neighbors over, and this is no different. Don't make any inappropriate remarks. You hear me?" Chan scolded.
"Fine." Jeongin scowled.
Chan gave him a threatening look. "Answer me properly."
Jeongin glared back at Chan. He was embarrassed that he got spanked in front of his older brothers.
"One. TWO." Chan started counting.
That was the scariest thing to Jeongin.
"Yes, Daddy!" He quickly blurted out, saving himself from going back over Chan's knee, or having to kneel in the corner.
Then the doorbell rang.
"Go answer the door." Chan said to Jeongin sternly.
